Pros: When picking up the car, Lucy at Adelaide Bargain rental was extremely accommodating and went over and above when we didn’t know the details of our policy with Discover Cars

Cons: kept waiting for too long as the desk clerk later admitted he was having difficulty with a customers account on the computer.

Cons: Staff disinterested. Car windscreen interior filthy. When sunlight hit window early evening visibility was awful. Had to clean it ourselves. Car was dangerous to drive. Staff were disinterested. We waited ages to be collected without anyone appearing then had to wait until someone reluctantly got on with the job of driving to the terminal. Car had 80+ KM on the clock.

Cons: Car took ages to pick up due to only having android and apple sat navs which was fine in theory as we had android auto and a data sim but it would not connect on the phone with android auto. After 3 staff trying to help (one who's own apple phone wouldn't even connect) we ended up having to 'hotspot' the old phone which would connect. This really needs to be shown on the bookings as not everyone has this facility on their phone nor a data sim so using google maps will incur huge costs

Cons: The car quality was extremely poor & available options were very limited. I was provided with an MG, despite my original booking of Kia Sorento. The vehicle had over 61,000 km on the odometer, the brakes were in terrible condition, and there was hardly any pickup. I felt so unsafe driving it that I had to return it immediately, however, no alternatives were available. Additionally, I'd to wait over 45 minutes at Adelaide Airport for a pickup. Despite receiving a message that its on the way.

Cons: We had to wait for nearly an hour to pick up our car, even though we had already completed all the details online. All that was left for them to do was verify our identities and hand over the keys, but they kept stalling. We later realised they didn’t actually have any cars available, despite our booking being made three months in advance. And when we finally received the car, it was full of rubbish left by previous customers—it hadn’t even been cleaned.

Pros: Great staff, quick and easy process which starts the trip off to a great start, good value for money, and nice clean cars.

Cons: Probably upon paying the remainder on pickup, when I booked through discoverycars.com I thought I bought the full on protection but apparently it’s through a 3rd party & wouldn’t of covered me if I was at fault which I was nervy about, didn’t choose anything more & thankfully all was well & we took it extra easy driving.

Cons: The pickup ws difficult as our UK phone didn't work in Australia leaving us trying other ways to get a message through. Eventually the Info desk at the airport was helpful. Even then we weren't sure a message had go through as there was no acknowledgment. It simply cuts one off.

Pros: The low price. We just needed something small to do short trips between relatives residences without the huge price tag the other companies charge. Also we aren't bothered if the car has a few k's on it or its a few years older. Not everyone needs or wants the newest and flashiest car.

Thankfully the information desk at Adelaide airport let me use their phone. Otherwise everything else was great and went smoothly.

Not even a map in the car or office to help us get out to the main road. A map in thew car would be helpful! When I asked directions to get either to motorway or city- very unhelpful. When I asked about getting a bus rather than getting them to take me back to the airport- they again could only tell us a bus stop on the road, but no more

Cons: Car had 2 damaged seatbelt buckles in the rear seats, both missing the plastic guards around the buckle and one which had been duct taped. The sharp parts led to minor cuts to two passengers fingers, on separate occasions.

Pros: Clean, newish (10,000km) small vehicle as ordered (MG3) No evidence of damage or problems. Needed for 1 week, driven 365kms mostly two trips out of Adelaide CBD. All OK, car reliable, well looked after. Brought it back a little dirty but no issue at their end. Service on return quick, and back at the Airport well before we had to be, as shuttle bus was ready for us. Second time used in 5 months, no complaints.

Cons: Unfortunately not situated at Adelaide Airport Terminal (rent is probably too high) and therefore to get cheaper/Bargain Price, they are located approx 10-12 minutes drive from Airport, and therefore provide a Shuttle Bus service to their location. An added stress in a new location for a non-local who really just wants to get to their accomodation as fast as possible. Following the directions for contacting Bargain was OK, but the location Pin on the Map was not precise/correct, a little offonly

Pros: Our MG rental went into slow mode apparently I activated a button on the steering wheel that is a bit of a trap the car wouldn’t go more than 40 a call to the help line and within the hour the south aus version of the NRMA arrived and checked the car out good result no more problems
