Pick-up instructions
Arriving car rental customers will be transported by dedicated blue-and-white McCarran Rent-A-Car Center shuttles for the short three-mile trip to the Center and the car rental company of your choice. Passengers are strongly advised to give themselves adequate time as wait and trips times to and from the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center may vary depending on special events, construction activity or traffic conditions. Terminal 1 – Rental Car Shuttle Pick Up From Baggage Claim, follow signs to Ground Transportation on Level 1. Proceed to the Rental Car Shuttle located outside doors 10 and 11. Terminal 3 – Rental Car Shuttle Pick Up Follow signs to Ground Transportation from Baggage Claim on Level Zero. Proceed to the Rental Car Shuttle located outside West doors 51-54 and East doors 55-58.
Drop-off instructions
Upon arrival at the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center, follow the signs to the Car Return GARAGE entrance off Gilespie Street, continue following the overhead signs to the appropriate car rental company. After returning your vehicle, proceed through the lobby and out the main entrance for ground transportation. Terminal 1 and 3 Departures – Board the appropriate shuttle to Terminal 1 or 3 departing approximately every 5 minutes for the 7 minute trip for your departing flight.

Pros: After not having the type of vehicle we rented available, we were eventually given the option of any unit in their lot. I ended getting a Toyota Sienna (an upgrade from the compact SUV I had reserved) at no extra cost. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Bottom line: even though they took a little longer to get us into a vehicle, we were very happy with the end product and appreciated the staff.

Pros: Nothing to like, you put my family in danger and should never have given me a car that wasn’t road worthy

Cons: Given a car with no brakes, when I called customer support they told me it would be fine to drive it with no brakes to a garage!! I wasted 2 days of my vacation sorting out the car. Terrible experience, you put my whole family’s lives in danger! We was extremely lucky nobody got hurt. The mechanic at the garage said you should be prosecuted for sending a vehicle out unchecked.

Cons: When I arrived at Dollar, they told me that they had no cars available (they told this to several other people as well). I asked if they could get a car from another company as I had a reservation and they said that they don't do that. I was stuck at the car rental place and had to find my own transportation to get to my hotel.

Cons: Windshield fluids were low, the oil change was not done before we got the car and the next day of renting the car the oil change light went on. The car did smell of cigarette smoke, which we hated because we do not smoke.

Pros: Easy to dropping of the car

Cons: Really old car filled with scratches. It made a lot of missounds driving it. We called Dollar about it. The only way we could change the car was driving back to the pick-up, which was impossible since we were on a round-trip. Really bad service.

Pros: Absolutely nothing. Rude and short staffed with unclear directions about everything and refused to let me rent the car without adding addition insurance coverage stating they “weren’t allowed to rent it out without additional coverage” costing me an extra $200

Pros: Car was in good condition, and was clean.

Cons: Took more than an hour to wait for desk agent to process rental. Tried to upsell me on insurance. Flat out lied about thir party liability insurance, told me that my own insurance does not cover this and it was mandatory. I never recieved a receipt by email as was promised during pick up and drop off. Now they have charged me for not having a full tank despite the receiving agent giving me a written receipt for a full tank, since the "system was down".

Cons: The check in staff was VERY pushy about the extra insurance which I had to decline no less than 5 separate times then he was still rude about it. Then getting the car they told me I needed to take a suv which I didn’t want. Put all our stuff in the “only car” then went to leave told by the attendant we had to turn back because it needed an oil change. Had to switch into the SUV, finally got on our way then the check engine light was on and the suv felt like it was struggling.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax, Customer Facility Charge (CFC), Surcharges.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
