Dirent a car Greece at Preveza Airport

Pros: Excellent service from the staff. Car was a few years old with 70,000 kilometres so had a few scrapes but car drove fine. The staff were very efficient and got me on my way quickly. Would use again for sure.

Cons: Only query would be instructions to find the place. It was outside the airport area. The instructions said outside the airport building. I phoned them and they gave me directions. Easy but just a query!

Pros: Ease of pick up and drop off quick service

Cons: Car had faulty side lights and no water in windscreen wash .

Pros: Friendly, helpful

Cons: N/a

Pros: Speedy pick up, no queue. Very small agency with limited number of cars. Located a short walk out of the airport (5 mins)

Cons: Returned the car to be told it was not in good condition. This was due to some sand in the footwells. Charged 30 euro extra for cleaning. Dropped the car at 7pm as arranged, and another customer was waiting to pick up the car, booked for 7pm which didn’t really seem like a great idea.

Pros: Car was in perfect condition.

Cons: Could be slightly faster at pick up, but they were fast enough, so no problem.

Cons: We ordered a Hyundai I20 and get a Scoda Fabia. The car had his best time. Did not do right to the amount of money.

Cons: They claim we scratched the car. My wife actually took photos that didn't show that specific (lower) area; in any case, the damage was a tiny paint chip—only 0.3 cm in diameter—located at the bottom of the vehicle (beneath the grille). Even if we *did* cause this minor scratch, it makes no sense for them to charge us €239 for such a trivial issue—something that would cost perhaps a few tens of euros at any repair shop. They claim the pricing is determined by their system. We consider this a tota

Pros: Quick Pick up and drop off.

Cons: I've rented a hyunday i20, i've received a 19 years old Peugeot 301. Not the same level, same price.

Pros: Velocità rilascio ed accettazione autovettura.

Cons: Condizioni meccaniche autovettura (frizione che slittava e dischi freni ovalizzati).

Pros: 5 door cars in economy category

Pros: Polite, friendly service. Value for money.

Cons: Not the easiest to find and even airport workers couldn't tell us exactly where it was. Fuel tank was half-full which is always awkward to take back the same. Assuming previous hirer left it half-full, the hire company should charge them and fill it right up (fuel station 25m away!). Also the windscreen washer fluid tank was empty - this should be checked for every hire return.

Pros: No fuss and professional

Cons: Nothing - all good

Pros: Good service without any problems

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Speedy pick up of the car, friendly Professional service.

Cons: A bit tricky to find them, we knew they Were outside the airport but not clear Where they are. (Approx 100 mtr) Why do you have to pay €60 ferry fee.

Pros: Very good friendly staff

Cons: It was not easy to find directions from airport could have been better

Pros: Quick efficient

Cons: Car was a joke, performed ok but must have been 10 years old

Pros: Very easy to get to from Airport, have used Dirent for around 7 years and they have always been easy.

Pros: Great car for 25 days and easy to deal with - thanks!

Pros: Excellent service. Great little car. Superb value

Cons: Hard to locate, instructions said just outside arrivals, however location is outside arrivals but hidd2n behind shell petrol garage. Please update instructions to say outside arrivalswalk to left and head towards shell garage

Pros: Efficient, friendly. Most importantly no hard sell on extras .

Cons: nothing to overly worry about .

Pros: Man in the rental office very friendly. Didn’t try and scare you into insurance or threaten to charge for any marks or scratches.

Pros: Friendly and speedy service

Cons: Engine orange light was on but reassured it was okay.

Pros: Very nice staff. Easy to deal with. Round them honest when going over the car

Cons: Nothing really. Car was a bit battered and bruised but drove fine which is the most important. For the money I paid I can't complain really. 60 quid is nothing for 4 days

Pros: nice vehicle -

Cons: finding the office was confusing - the directions said opposite the airport - we thought this mean opposite the arrivals door where rental firms we have used before are situated - it was actually opposite the exit road - BETTER TO HAVE SAID NEXT TO THE SHELL GARAGE to avoid confusion

Cons: I booked for automatic but was given manual with no clear explanation and no offer to refund the difference in price

Pros: The guys that worked there were friendly enough

Cons: I didn't trust them at first. There was Very little that linked them to Dirent. If the wore company polo shirts or even t-shirts with the emblem on, then I would trust them more

Pros: Staff were friendly , real old school kind of feel no frills but it was the cheapest so what to expect .

Cons: Nothing really was no hassle

Pros: Simple and easy pick up service and also drop off took only minutes

Pros: Willingness, speed and prices

Cons: Nothing. A little problem was finding the rental shop DiscoverCars.com. It would be good if the rental shop stated in its offers that it is located right next to the gas station

Pros: Excellent value for money

Cons: Car was a bit from the old series, but still doing a great job

Pros: Quick.

Cons: A little hard to find shop. An old paint damage was tried put on me, but with photo documentation this was easily settled.

Pros: The staff at Direct were very helpful. Our flight with TUI (who are rubbish by the way) was delayed over 24 hours and we were in contact with the company many times. They stayed open late to accommodate us. When we got there the whole service was quick and easy.

Pros: Fast friendly service

Cons: Directions to find the office were very poor

Cons: The car wasn't what I expected. It is the LOWEST quality at its category. AC worked intermittently, no power windows at the back sit, no rear cam. Very simple car with respect to the advertisement at their website. NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Pros: Great, friendly service. Very efficient and good value.

Cons: Hard to find the office although only a minute from terminal near petrol station. Needed better directions.

Pros: Use every year. Efficient and honest service, very helpful

Pros: Real honest, efficient and good fairs

Pros: Good small car - good money. Car was prepared to use...

Cons: The location of the rent.comp. isnt a problem..: its cca 300m from the airp., luggage carts are available. Unfortunately, the logo of the rent.c. isnt visible from the airp., but it would be enough to write that the r.c. is right next to the Shell gas station. The car was clean: the exterior and the interior too, but after the previous use, maps were left on the seats. Solved with a towel. The r.comp. is the cheapest in the whole area and if this was a tax for it, I didnt mind undergoing it..

Pros: Staff and collection and drop off very easy

Pros: Szybko i bezproblemowo

Pros: Terrible company, it is now the second time they try to claim damage on the car which was not caused by me during the rental

Cons: Never go to these guys again, the try to make money over fake damages and scratches that were already on the car.

Pros: Helpful and efficient

Cons: Directions to office from airport were unclear

Pros: Friendly helpful staff,

Cons: The first car we picked up developed a minor fault with the brakes Dirent changed it straight away, no questions asked.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff at the rental desk. Great value car for the price. Easy pick-up and drop-off experience.

Pros: Speedy process, good car , friendly agent

Pros: Collection was speedy!

Cons: Better directions to pick up location would be helpful.

Pros: Do not use them! They charged us for the old sratch they had previously! The same happened to other customers who.came to leave their car too and they said they alao fell like scammed. Ladies sent us onvoice which we never signed and it was signed for us - they signed it and pretendent it was us! AVOID THESE CHEATERS!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Super super nice! Everything was great!

Pros: Price

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Friendly service, easy pick up and drop off.

Pros: Good

Cons: The tyres on the car

Pros: Efficiency and velocity

Pros: Nothing

Cons: See comments above. Shocking service and the car was not in good condition - broken seat belt fastening and taillight and missing safety equipment.

Pros: Good car and fast dropping off the car.

Cons: Give better direction to the office.

Pros: Direct were excellent quick, friendly and helpful

Pros: Nothing

Cons: We got a much smaller car we provided, After complaining we got another (dirty) car. After 100 meters driving we had to turn back because of engine was not good. After an hour we could leave. It tooks 3 weeks we got our creditcard deposit back!! Never Dirent anymore!!!!

Pros: value for money, very fast pick up the car

Pros: Price

Cons: It would have been so helpful on arrival to have "next to the Shell petrol station" written on the order paperwork. A better roadmap of the area would have been nice.

Cons: Company had no record of my baby seat booking nor any suitable seats I could use. Offered almost no assistance in helping me find one short of phoning Hertz. Car was grossly underpowered and in average condition.

Pros: Fast, efficient, courteous

Pros: Friendly agent, quick in processing us.

Cons: Hard to find, we were chased up because we were running 15 minutes late, due to passport control queue. The car’s tyre pressure warning light came on after we collected the car. All 4 tyre pressures were extremely low, and clearly were not checked regularly by the car hire company.

Pros: Quick, friendly and efficient.

Cons: The instructions on where to go to pick up the car were not good as the car rental companies were mainly opposite the airport so we spent ages walking up and down that street in the dark trying to find them, until the rental company called and told us to leave the airport and cross the road, where we would find them behind the Esso garage.

Pros: Friendly and quick service. The car was clean and in a good condition.

Cons: Nothing. It was a lovely surprise compared to my previous rental with Enterprise at London Heathrow.

Pros: Very guick picking up.

Cons: I booked and paid for a Skoda Octavia. I got a small old Peugeot 307. The car had a very small engine, the times was almost done. So when we drove uphill it had big problems.

Cons: Car wasn't ready when we arrived, they didn't have our booking on the system. Had to go to a local taverna and wait 3 hours for a car to come in.

Pros: The pick up and drop off was fast and efficient although the damage sheet wasn’t filled in by the empt(I took photos) and when I told him the engine Check light was on he said it’s ok we know !

Cons: Fast , friendly

Pros: Fast and low cost

Cons: .

Cons: They should explain better how to reach the desk from the airport

Pros: Fast, easy and friendly pickup and return.

Cons: The only issue I had was that the car did not have a remote key fob.

Pros: The value for money was good as it was the most reasonable price we could find. One member of staff was particular helpful and concerned about the problems we had.

Cons: The boot broke within the first hour which made the use of the car a bit of a pain as we were moving around a lot. The battery died and it was a hassle getting it fixed and they didn’t seem to be very proactive in helping or getting it fixed. We wasted half a day getting it sorted and had to pay for a local mechanic to come look at it. And we were not reimbursed.

Pros: Generally all good. New car and fairly efficient process.

Cons: There was some damage which neither of us noticed when I picked up the car as it was night and dark. It could have been me, could have not - it happens. But the paperwork to sort was slow. Good news is that I bought full coverage with Discover Car and it paid in full - fast and flawless!

Pros: No waiting, I was served straight away.

Cons: Car was supplied with a warning light on that said it had a flat tyre. The car had a lane departure system that shook the steering wheel, I should have been told about this feature.

Cons: They charged me for a tiny scratch that they said I did but you would have to be very very good at inspecting a rental car when you collect it to see such a scratch. These guys are total sharks would not go near them and will also post such a message on social media so other people don’t get ripped off.

Pros: Good airport location, friendly staff

Pros: Great price, friendly staff

Cons: One of the car seats was awful, the foam was gone and my son said that it was very uncomfortable.

Pros: Very straightforward pick up and drop off. They didn't try to sell me any extras

Cons: The directions to find Dirent at Preveza airport were not clear.

Pros: Price

Cons: We had to wait for car to be cleaned (quick wash and vac) Radio didn't work, car sounded rough, temperature light came on at one point, we had a puncture on the way back to the airport and the spare was also flat.

Cons: Advertised location (Hard to find) Very slow only 1 person on the desk and had several people collecting at the same time. Holiday makers want to be in their way not waiting in a queue. Maybe a welcome drink of water or when the queue is long ? Every little detail adds to a good service

Pros: Good quality vehicle and very helpful staff

Cons: the agent tried to blame in making tiny microscopic scratch that i did not do . they went directly to the place as if thay knew about it in advance

Pros: not much

Cons: car was the wrong category. Kept us waiting in the cold of 30mins to bring car. Then more mins to clean the car. They don't have a customer friendly back up plan when things go wrong. Typical cowboy style local agents

Pros: No pressure to buy additional insurance which we had already purchased

Pros: Very pleasant rental agents and very helpful and efficient.

Cons: There are no real pointers to the car rental desk/kiosk from the exit of the arrivals area of the airport. I found it frustrating using your directions on the paperwork.

Cons: It was tricky to find at first if there had been a queue it would have been very hot to wait outside

Pros: Customer Service was swift & pleasant

Pros: Quick and friendly.

Cons: The directions to the office are not clear enough, as we booked via Discover Cars we where looking and asking for them, but the office is sign posted Dirent and if we had been told the office was next to the Shell Gas Station to the right of the Airport Exit we would have found it much quicker than we did.

Pros: Friendly and helpful.

Cons: Seats were all marked. If they had seat covers then they could be removed and washed. Also no water in windscreen washer.

Pros: Very quick transaction on arrival and return. No waiting.

Cons: Need a bit more guidance as to where they are situated as they are not on the airport with the other companies, but within walking distance. We just had to ask someone where they were so no biggie.

Pros: Quick and cheapest

Cons: Car was in poor condition and not particularly clean. The rental place isn't on the airport grounds so you have to cross a busy main road with luggage to get there

Pros: Very good, no complaints or grumbles

Cons: Not so easy to find the office, it is out of the airport and across the road

Pros: Fast and reliable

Cons: The location should be better advertised. Dirent is actually in the same place as the Shell station outside the airport

Pros: Nothing

Cons: The car, the service there attitude sitting in a soaking wet car that only went 40mph on the flat and only 1st gear up a steep hill!

Pros: Attesa dell'addetto fuori dall'aeroporto.

Cons: Alcune spiegazioni su funzionalità auto (tappo benzina e tasto apertura bagliaio)

Pros: Thanks for everything and the very fast dropping off. Top services. Trust company. See you next year ;-)

Pros: Quick pick up and return of the car

Cons: The car was old and in a very poor condition. We had an issue with the car and couldn’t reach any representative from Direct by phone or email. No one picked up and their inbox was full.

Pros: Friendly, efficient service

Pros: QUICK AND EASY

Cons: QUALITY OF CAR

Pros: The agent waited an extra 3 hours (until 10pm) when our flight was delayed. Very glad he did.

Pros: Drop off was fine

Cons: Our flight was delayed and the desk was closed when we landed (other hire cars had left their desks open). We ended up sleeping outside the airport and asked if they could open early in the morning which they said they’d try. The website said the desk opened at 8.00 and we hoped for something before then. At 8.15 the desk was still closed and eventually I got to the desk to collect the car around 8.45. No apology - just a threat that they don’t have to rent the car.

Pros: Easy and straightforward

Cons: nothing really

Pros: Excellent

Cons: No misgivings.

Pros: Fair speedy service once found where they are.

Cons: I did not get the car I booked. I was given excuses when picked up that "this was the car they were given to hand over to me".

Pros: Nothing. Very bad experience.

Cons: Rental desk is very hard finding. Agents are very unpolite. We have to pay extra 30€ because we drop off car 15 minutes earlier. And we have to pay extra 10€ because rental agents said car is "full of shit" from inside. I don't know why is my problem that car is dusty from their Greece roads. And I don't know why is my problem that I have to drop off car 15 minutes earlier because of my flight and check-in time.

Pros: nothing

Cons: state of car , poor attitude, hard to locate at night, attempted to put pressure on me and looked like he wanted to try to claim additional fees on return. felt he was very untrustworthy and not prefessional

Pros: Used before so know the set up. Would use again if the price is competitive.

Cons: All OK

Pros: Very good price, ease of booking, great service

Cons: N/A

Pros: Efficient on arrival.

Cons: It wasn't open at 9.30am and when called there was no answer! Had to wait around for 25 mins! Car was quite dirty inside on collection. We put in extra fuel and didn't get any money back.

Pros: The staff were friendly enough and the car was at least ready.

Cons: The car had a number of alerts appearing on the dashboard and error messages and couldn't handle the Greek hills very well.

Pros: Good price

Cons: Hard to find; car a bit dirty and not fully serviced.

Pros: Quick picking up and dropping off

Cons: not totally honest

Pros: Quick and easy. Small wait for contract to be filled in, but all went smoothly. I keep wondering why contracts are not prefilled with all the info we already give through internet, but that is at every rental agency... No debit card accepted for the deposit.

Cons: It's not 'across the street' in a straight line but a bit to the right hand side, to be exact.

Cons: Cleanliness inside the car

Pros: The speed of drop off

Cons: The car was barely road legal

Pros: All fine!

Cons: Nothing

Pros: tempestività nel ritirare e riconsegnare l'autovettura

Cons: l'autovettura era un pochino danneggiata e sporca all'interno

Pros: Initial price and staff very good

Cons: Had to extend rental by 4 days due to flight cancellation and I think the price charged for extra 4 days was excessive considering that I was renting for a total of almost 8 weeks.

Pros: Nothing in particular

Cons: Organisation
