AddCar at Preveza Airport

Pros: Ease of everything

Pros: No hassle, easy and a good car with a good price

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Efficient

Cons: Car had an exhaust problem, not advised when we picked up. Put us off driving any distance

Pros: Very efficient.

Cons: Car was a bit tired and engine too small for an auto box on the hills.

Pros: I did t.

Cons: Agents were rude. Made us wait over an hour for a car that was sat there waiting.

Pros: Quick

Cons: Poor car

Pros: Reasonably efficient

Pros: Friendly staff and fast and efficient

Cons: Didn’t have the VW up I booked and the Nissan micro I got was a bit of a noisy tin can but drove ok. Hopefully next time I’ll get the car I book.

Cons: It was a bit hard to find it outside the airport due to wierd conditions for pedestrians.

Cons: The car was getting a little old and had some cosmetic issues inside

Pros: Efficient and no hard sell

Pros: Quick return of car and easy access from airport.

Cons: We waited 2.5 hours at the gate for service.

Pros: Hired a car after a long bus journey from Athens. The process was easy and great value for money. Would definitely use this company again.

Pros: Fast, easy and very good prices. We’ll definitely book again!

Pros: Staff friendly!

Cons: N/A

Pros: Good price, easy location at Preveza airport, instructions re pick up and drop off very clear. Car was basic but fine and was very fuel efficient. I would use AddCar again for sure.

Cons: Nothing, as car hire goes all was fine.

Pros: The speed of pick up. Agent helpfulness.

Pros: Value for money and agent in Preveza was good except during pickup.

Cons: During pickup, the agent lacked staff to deal with so many clients. Car was an old model had over 100,000 kms on the clock.

Pros: Easy to find and process very quick.

Pros: Close lication to the airport. Friendly staff. Speedy pick up and drop off

Cons: Some minor cosmetic internal damage to the car. Not really an issue.

Pros: Quick pick-up and drop-off. Agent helpfull.

Cons: The car could had been a little more clean, but ok.

Pros: Very friendly and efficient .

Cons: All fine

Pros: The desk agent was a very helpful Syrian person. He was very eager to help and accommodate people’s needs. He worked fast, and found solutions to problems quite quickly.

Cons: Firstly, the out of hours charge which was not made clear in the booking; but I can appreciate it that being the policy. Secondly, the car given to me was decent, but mechanically I believe needs some attention as it revved at irregular time intervals. Also one of the screen wipers used was not the correct size and it made it difficult (and incredibly, annoyingly loud) to wipe the front windscreen!

Pros: Overall service was fine, the issue was the condition of the car. In first gear it stalled on a steep hill - dangerous insufficiently powered vehicle for steep hills of this area. And whining noise on the way to the airport at night. Quite stressful, good maintenance practices are an essential feature of any car rental firm.

Pros: Very quick efficient service. Car was an older model with a little wear and tear but for what I paid for it, I have no complaints.

Cons: Directions to site need to be amended. Instructions imply that the office is 50m outside the airport doors but on the airport. It is actually off airport across the main road.

Pros: Fast and efficient even if we collected the car earlier than we had pickup time.

Pros: Very quick and efficient service

Pros: Friendly, polite and efficient.

Cons: Thought I’d booked as full to full but was informed this was same to same. Probably cost me about a 1/4 of a tank extra.

Cons: Avevo chiesto una vettura normale e invece mi è stata data una con le marce automatiche senza possibilità di scelta

Pros: Cheap, car was full of dents but that didn't bother me. Fuel to same instead of to full. At the price I was sure to get ripped off at some point but everything was fine :D

Cons: Bit harder to find the office, unclarity up front if the dropoff was close to the airport and if a shuttle was needed or not. It was great in the end, but the uncertainty upfront made me almost book a more expensive car

Pros: Nice Sales people. The place was just outside the Airport, and lots of space and the place looked clean and in good quality. Compared to the price lending, and all in all the scratches already on the car - it was a very fair price. But the car as driven was very good - but some scratches on it - but I would say never mind. The driving and Road condition is very poor some places on the country side.

Cons: We got it with lots of scratches on the painting, but they also accepted it as such. That was very positive. So nothing bad about AddCar really - we love the way things worked. Nice sales people.

Pros: Quick and they did not try and rip you off as the car was covered in dents and not in good condition but it worked and the company were really cheap so can't complain too much.

Cons: No screen wash, the AC sounded like a jet engine and the petrol and bonnet levers were broke. Car worked fine but was in poor condition.

Pros: Overall quick and easy both on the website and in person, the car was really good too

Cons: N/A

Cons: According to the information provided by Discover cars, the rental company was supposed to be "in terminal". It was not. The fuel policy was supposed to be "full to full". I was instead "same to same".

Cons: The condition of the car was below my expectations. The front left headlight didn't work, there was no spare tire and/or jack, there was no tire inflation kit.

Pros: Very easy and quick.

Cons: Airco couldt be better.

Cons: We had een waring light in de car. This was about the light, that was already existing. I should repair this before or inform us before leaving.

Cons: Forgot phone battery in the car and called the same day to come pick it up but they said they never found it. Clearly took it and lied about it

Pros: Very efficient. No fuss. Friendly service

Cons: They did not properly check the car before providing me it. Nor did they offer an adequate alternative

Pros: Easy pickup and return. Puncture issue easily dealt with.

Cons: Didn’t like having to pay for puncture.

Pros: Fast service and nice car model.

Cons: Car was little bit dirty.

Pros: Friendly

Cons: They felt under staff as long queue formed from the arrival of the plane

Pros: Mr. Efthymios is an employee with professionalism. The receipt of the car as well as the delivery took place in zero time. I was happy with the car I rented for the price I paid.

Pros: Nothing particularly. See what I didn’t like.

Cons: I did not like the fact that they take €990 deposit for any “Excess” to the insurance and that return of same deposit is not offered until some 14 days from return of the car.

Pros: Collection was quick

Cons: As above comments

Pros: We must pay it bit available return the car our( before) office working time

Pros: Fast and easy

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Easy going staff, relaxed and helpful. I needed a car with a bigger trunk than the one initially assigned and they changed it on the spot, it took 2 minutes to switch to a bigger car.

Cons: The condition of the car was very poor:full of dents and scratches, brake disks needed a change as they were vibrating heavily and needed a lot of force to actually stop the car. It had a lot of flywheel and clutch noise everytime I was shifting gears(and I did that a lot considering it was a small engine and a lot of mountain roads to cross in Lefkada). Overall,I think the car should be inspected more often by a mechanic as the one I had seemed that it had never been in a garage upon delivery.

Pros: Car Agency addcar was fine, there was no problem. Pick up and drop off car was easy and fast.

Cons: Car was is terrible condition. Engine showed some problems and we were disappointed about that. There was a lot of small errors (with key, whipers, windows opening,..)

Pros: Easy to find friendly staff

Pros: Very quick

Cons: It wasn’t the car we were meant to get. I cancelled Hertz and booked via Discover so I could get a larger car. Then ended up with a Micro that could hardly get up a hill and couldn’t fit two suitcases in the boot

Pros: Not much. Car in a terrible state - dents/scratches everywhere. Windscreen washer didn’t work. Supposed to be full tank to full tank… car supplied with half tank and told to return with half tank - typical scam/hassle as impossible to know how much to fill.

Cons: When car returned I was told it was all fine. Asked for a confirmation of this… simply told ‘no’ so you have to trust them! Agent uninterested. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Pros: Easy to communicate.

Cons: Dirty screen window from inside.

Pros: Helpful

Cons: Cars are not A1...however, we were in Greece so was as expected.

Cons: The disdain and relegation to the fact that it is what it is and there is no choice

Pros: Polite and helpful

Cons: The petrol gauge was “sticky” - it took over 10 minutes to fully register after filling the tank

Pros: Price. Easy location outside Action airport.

Cons: Car hadn't been cleaned. Engine warning light on at collection. Address in Preveza Town for drop off not explained, and very poor signage - one small logo on a door of a shop that reads something else.

Cons: Long time to refund the deposit

Cons: Breach of contract with the car being not supplied full of fuel as requested. They insisted on taking a further hefty security deposit on arrival. Exceptionally poor customer service suggesting it was ‘not a problem’ despite the car being collected late at night. The car was dreadful and barely able to get up hills meaning it guzzled fuel costing a lot to refill it despite being a small low-value car. Would not recommend at all. The ‘low quote’ is far from it in reality. Go for Hertz/Avis!

Pros: It was close to the airport and quick service

Cons: The car was not very clean

Pros: It was fast and efficient.

Cons: Returning the excess amount is not immediate, as confirmed, it may take up to 20 days, which is unacceptable. This was the only disappointing thing.

Pros: easy to deal with

Cons: made me pay for additional driver for full rental when i had already had car for first 4 days also car was in poor condition and old, also poeple were given much better cars with no resivation and we booked months in advance

Pros: Everthing

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Not much

Cons: I feel they ripped me off.

Pros: Excellent service

Cons: N/A

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Not friendly Un helpful

Pros: Prompt attention at pick up and drop off

Cons: A very old car with a lot of damage already on it

Pros: Staff & vehicle were great

Pros: Friendly efficient staff, car was well presented and clean.

Cons: Low score because there was only one member of staff to deal with multiple rental customers arriving on the same flight. Pre-booked rentals and flight times are known well in advance, the office should be staffed accordingly. This gives a poor impression of the business to clients, making them wait unnecessarily long times for a straightforward transaction, not to mention the stress placed on the single member of staff.

Pros: Pleasant staff, reasonable car and nicely close to preveza airport

Cons: Car’s cigarette lighter not working which meant our portable sat nav could not work. Also got yellow warning triangle appear which was concerning albeit car kept going for the week

Pros: Exceptional service by a very efficient and personable young lady, Apostolia.

Cons: N/a

Pros: Service provided by the lady in the office

Pros: Our flight was cancelled and so I had to rearrange pickup due to our later arrival time on new flight. When I called the people on the phone were great and very helpful. Lady who met us when we arrived at destination was lovely and accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and offered to help with suggestions for places to eat, see, visit. Top customer service!

Pros: Very friendly staff and helpful

Cons: Had to phone to get my deposit back

Pros: They didn’t charge us any additional fees

Cons: They were keen to try and find issues with the car on return. I had to prove a scratch on the car existed before our hire by showing photos we took when we picked it up.

Pros: Helpful staff

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very cheap but still fair. Good check of the car before we left, easy drop off, no quibbles, new car.

Cons: The car didn't feel very powerful but we did go for the cheapest rental that was 33€ per week so can't complain at all!

Pros: straightforward and efficient

Cons: The desks were busy so there was a queue.

Cons: Having booked a Opel Astra, I felt short changed getting a Nissan Note. Child seat was dirty.

Pros: Replacement car was newer and had no faults.

Cons: We were originally given an old car with a fault which was only replaced when we said the fault was bothering us, hence the low score for condition and value.

Pros: Always great service and very efficient. Use them every year.

Pros: Quick, no trouble at all

Cons: Tire pressure wasn't checked before pickup. But not a big problem

Pros: Nothing

Cons: The car was absolutely dreadful, worst car I have ever driven. It was old, expensive and no attempt had been made to clean it

Cons: The car was over 10 years old with many dents and scrapes as well as an engine warning light which date on the whole of the hire duration. The front nearside headlamp was not working and the parcel shelf was broken

Pros: Car selection. Quick Improvisation: renting a bigger car for the agreed price of a smaller car :-)

Pros: fast

Cons: not climatization

Pros: Personel was very kind

Cons: /

Pros: Quick service, friendly staff

Cons: Seats of the car were dirty

Pros: Perfect service. Efective, fast and good mood.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: I had to change 2 cars becouse they didn't work.

Pros: Having had disappointing experiences in Preveza before it was nice to deal with a professional company with nice cars in good condition.

Pros: Easy to book, all went according to plan and very competively priced.

Cons: Nothing negative to add.

Pros: Really friendly staff, efficient & quick pick up and drop off, the car was the perfect size and ready & waiting for us.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: Fast, no extra upselling (already had insurance through Discovercars). Car already had damages but that's what I like. Makes returns easy.

Cons: Forgot the child seat. Very minor problem but after mentioning I quickly got one.

Pros: Great price, lovely car, no queue!

Cons: Can’t fault them!

Pros: All good

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Decent customer service

Cons: Hidden additional insurance which was held in a pot

Pros: Flexibility when I asked to extend the lease.

Pros: Returning the car was fast and friendly.

Cons: Very rude and grumpy service at pick up. I was 1 hour delayed and the employee already closed the gate and was about to drive off. On the website it says they are open all day so I did not call them to let them know.
