Cons: When picking up the car the agent suggested that i should buy additional Insurance from them. I told him that i already had bougth such through Discovercars.com but he said that in the event of any problem, that one would not aply and i had to cover the expences that should accur. The car provided to me had severely worn-out tires, which resulted in two of them blowing out simultaneously while I was driving. This not only posed a significant safety hazard but also indicated a lack of proper maintenance and oversight by your team. When the tires exploded, I immediately called the emergency number provided by your company. However, I was shocked and disappointed to be told to

Cons: “fix it yourself.” This response was entirely unacceptable and unprofessional, leaving me stranded and without proper assistance. Upon returning the vehicle and explaining the situation, I was further dismayed by your company’s refusal to compensate me for the full cost of replacing the two damaged tires. It is clear that the condition of the tires was a pre-existing issue, and the responsibility for their maintenance lies with your company. I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution.

Pros: The staff was friendly and the car rental office was very close to the Izmir airport.

Cons: The car wasn't available for pickup at the airport, which was unexpected. We had to contact an agent of Carnet via WhatsApp, who then sent someone to pick us up at the airport with a different vehicle. We were then taken to their nearby office. The allocated clerk then struggled to complete the necessary administration, followed by handing over a car which had an empty fuel tank, and with plenty dents and scratches all over the bodywork. Not a great first impression sadly.

Cons: When we were picking up , there was no one waiting or no phone call received . I had rang the company and he kept saying it will be with you shortly and I had wait about 1,5 hrs and no apology revived instead told it was iftar time and Veysel ( the name of the person) said I should be more fleaxible as it was iftar! Then I was asked to pay about €1000 deposit which made me buy the insurance as there was no way about it &if there will be slight damage would loose the money.I will never use you!

Cons: The attitude of the representative who took care of me was not pleasant. Firstly, when I went to pick up the car, he acted condescendingly. Then, when I was returning the car, he tried to make it seem like I had done the damage to the car. Luckily I had taken all the photos of the car when I picked up it and he couldn't do that. It is not nice for such a global company to work with such people.

Pros: Just a little cheaper than other car rentals

Cons: Car was dirty and was not prepared. Gas tank was empty. Tire pressures were not optimized. Had a hard time looking for the contact person as there was no office in the airport. Endorsement was done on the curbside where the police pressured us to do it in the parking area.

Cons: Toll prices were slightly over the actual toll price, only take cash for that on return and no change available so extra cost involved if you don't have the right amount. Its also very difficult to return a car empty of Fuel as given so some extra cost there too

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 2500.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 24.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 65.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Roman alphabet.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, Country entry stamp that is not older than 6 months.

Local renters must pass a Findex credit check to pick up the car.
Customers are only allowed to rent only if they agree to a credit check and their credit score is satisfactory.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Wi-Fi.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Details are available from the rental company's reservation office.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 1 hour after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
