Pros: Renting a car in Turkey had me anxious for sure but Europcar at Izmir was fantastic for the pick up. Great car with a few marks but otherwise run really well. Drop off in Fethiye was super easy, no clear signage but we pulled over near the shop and the staff came out to help and collect the car. Even when we had an alert that we needed to add AdBlue (something new for us) the online WhatsApp help line was very helpful and spoke great English.

Cons: Better drop off directions at Fethiye.

Pros: The car was new and in good condition.

Cons: The car, despite being advertised for 5 people, only had 4 seatbelts, meaining 1 of us travelled without one for the whole trip. The car was a Full fuel - full fuel rental. We refuled at the station just outside the airport boundary before refuring the car, and still had a 'refuel admin charge' of 17.50 Euros.

Pros: The service was pretty bad I waited ages to pick the car up once I found where to pick it up. The car front ref plate fell off 3 times luckily by my hotel so it was found! However I was told to drive from Kusadasi to Izmir airport with no front plate! On arrival at Izmir returning the car the police stopped me and told me to attach the plate or I couldn’t enter the airport! The collection and drop off point were hard to find

Cons: They provided a car that the tyre had a nail on it. It caused serious risk while driving. I went myself tyre service to fix the tyre. They also provided car with very low level of petrol and it was difficult to find petrol station to fill up with the pertol.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 850.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Local renters must pass a Findex credit check to pick up the car.
Customers are only allowed to rent only if they agree to a credit check and their credit score is satisfactory.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

A separate fuel deposit is required when collecting the vehicle.
Fuel deposit prices can vary depending on the car model and market fuel prices in force when collecting the car.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Additional Driver, Winter package, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age), Snow chains, Winter tires.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

If the customer is late for a return for more than 59 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges. The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
