Avec Rent A Car at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport

Cons: Weak English communication. Pick up was slow and painful. The child seat was not ready at pick up time and it was of low quality. Billing and additional charges are not clear

Pros: Pick-up and drop-off ease.

Cons: Offered a smaller car than booked

Pros: Thay are quick delivery.

Cons: No after service.

Pros: الاستلام والتسليم رائع

Cons: عدم إعادة الوديعة. وعدم الرد على الرسائل

Pros: Good service and car condition

Cons: High deposit, long deposit refund time, quite high insurance price

Pros: Easiness to get and drop off the car

Cons: Costly insurances Maintenance and tyre pressure warnings showed up quickly (not fault of Avec: drop off parking at SAW airport is not well indicated)

Pros: Bad behavior, non professional at all

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Great service

Pros: Car had some scratches

Cons: Friendly team

Pros: The staff were friendly. The car was easy to find. Pickup was quick.

Cons: The back seat was wet. The car smelled of cigarettes. The front tire was almost flat, and I had to inflate it myself immediately after receiving the car.

Pros: Car ware damaged on several places, later found that no windscreen washer or don’t work

Cons: When they give me the car never tell me the damage on the car even it’s been marked on the pictures but I should be informed and also should be informed about when my security deposit will be refunded

Pros: Avec was prompt and good

Cons: N/A

Cons: Service fee for fuel is about 2000 tl. Not fair.

Pros: very good

Cons: non

Pros: Very very great amazing is usuall

Pros: Excellent services!

Pros: Helpful team and fast process

Cons: Nothing

Pros: They have a warm welcome, excellent customer service, speed in completing work, and a keen interest in customer satisfaction, and I thank them for that.

Cons: No, no, I didn't find anything I didn't like at all, and I'm completely satisfied with them.

Pros: Very nice company . I trust them . All agent's smiling , Helpfull

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Easy to find the rental car office

Cons: 1. Larger amounts than agreed upon were withdrawn from my bank card, especially the deposit amount. 2. I haven't received receipts for the three amounts withdrawn from my credit card. The employee responsible for collecting the car rental fees, the unreasonably high additional insurance fee, and the deposit amount assured me he would send them as soon as possible, which hasn't happened yet. 3. He ignored the WhatsApp messages I sent to the same employee who provided me with his WhatsApp number!

Pros: money value and the smooth of handing over

Pros: Very professional 👏 👌 Rapid delivery and drop off. Deposit returned in 10 days.

Pros: The agent force you to pay car insurance or to pay big amount as a deposit.

Pros: I have rented a car twice on my trip to Turkey this time . From same Company. One time from Istanbul Sabiha Airport. One from Trabzon Airport. Trabzon they refund full of my deposit. Istanbul branch deducted $66 from security deposit. They didn’t explained to me the reason. So only I have this point against Istanbul branch of this rental Company.

Cons: I have explained above 👆🏻

Pros: I asked for winter tyres since I planned to go to Uludag where winter tyres are mandatory. and they were present in the car.

Pros: They didn't have the vehicle I had booked and they gave me a similar one.

Pros: خدمتهم ممتازة وسريعة وسياراتهم دائما جديدة

Pros: Polite and efficient

Pros: I was upgraded to a better car

Pros: The quoted price is what I paid at the rental counter. The agent offered insurance, but he was not aggressive. Although the reservation says that a chip-and-PIN card is required, this location accepted a US chip-and-signature card with no PIN.

Cons: The quote on DiscoverCars shows an inclusive rate with CDW, but the Avec reservation email showed no CDW, and the agent at the rental desk said that there was no CDW. The car had previously been smoked in and then cleaned, but not thoroughly enough to remove the smell. DiscoverCars only allows 3 days to leave a review, before the deposit has been returned. It is not possible to say if the final bill will be accurate.

Pros: easy to receive and give back the car

Cons: car dirty from inside and was having brakes problem and they didn't help me and just ignored my messages to them.

Pros: Car condition was in line with the details confirmed during reservation / Drop off went super smooth.

Cons: Difficulties during pick up / payment process Attitude of the pick up personnel during system reset

Pros: I am waiting to get my deposit... the amount I will receive will determine the review. There was an old hit on the right side of the vehicle and I informed them about it and took pictures of it. Still they took a picture when i returned the car. I informed the staff it is an old mark but i am not sure when he registered.

Pros: Speed of pick up and drop off

Cons: Location change. Took long time to find

Pros: Respectful of the reservation and didn't ask for hidden charges. I paid what I expected.

Cons: Customer service agent made no effort to change our car type and advised that any other car would have cost more money. Pickup agent was rude and dragged his feet on delivery of the rental car. Car had a vibration at speeds over 100km.

Pros: I recieved the same car that I booked, with amazing conditions. The AVEC team are very helpful and professional

Pros: Easy to find, quick

Cons: paid for 24 hours but their offices close at 19:00 and you cannot drop the car. so basically you are screwed and they blame you and put it as your responsibility.

Pros: easy to find the office and take a car.

Cons: not everybody speak English in turkey

Pros: Easy pick up, easy drop off, the drop off was super fast

Cons: Agent tried to push me buy an insurance at the counter, they all do that anyway!

Pros: I booked a car and received a similar, older car with lower specifications.

Cons: Receive the old car or find another place

Pros: Easy to find office location and awareness of reservations

Cons: Car in Istanbul AVEC had a tyre problem and dirty and stainy front windshield and the employee didn't seem willing to help and he called his manager, the manager said car has no problem and asked the staff to deactivate the alarm instead of changing the car.. very poor service

Pros: Please respect the contract

Cons: Before picking up the vehicle, the representative at the desk asked if we wanted any insurance. I told them I didn't want any insurance and they gave me the documents to sign. While there was no additional statement regarding insurance on the document, I learned that they had charged me an insurance fee of €45 when returning the vehicle. This was completely unethical behavior and they didn't refund my payment. I will definitely not use their service again.I’m not reccomending

Pros: Well trained staff and fast procedures

Cons: N / A

Pros: When I picked up a car it was not full tank petrol It was one bar below I gave to car full tank

Pros: The first time i rent a car and they didn’t accept cards or cash they have to improve their services

Pros: Thank you very much

Pros: There were prompt and service with a smile

Cons: There was one issue that one of the car wheels cover was missing at the time recived

Pros: Collection and drop off were seamless, very well organised, speedy service. Extra two bootle of water supplied were handy to have in the car until my first stop. Car bodywork was severely damaged at the pick up, this however, did not reflect on the trip itself and driving condition of the car was perfect, so i just took plenty of photos and videos on collection and drop off.

Cons: One small issue with the renting company itself, which were trying to upsell for another insurance (although i booked the full coverage) saying that if i had an accident and didn't do the police report, this extra insurance would cover me. It was a hefty 45 euro for 4 days.

Pros: Call received was 2025 model new well maintained perfect condition

Pros: So cooperative and well trained staff

Cons: N/A

Pros: car was dirty

Cons: staff are very positive

Pros: Great customer service

Cons: Car was in bad condition damaged on all areas and was making noises

Pros: not much

Cons: They have given me a car without properly cleaning it. It had a strong smoking smell inside. I have called minimum 5 times and asked for car to be changed. I had to wash my hands everytime I touch the steering wheel. Someone had smoked inside the car. And the rental agent told me over the phone that they cannot guarantee non-smoking car!

Pros: Almost nothing. The car was good.

Cons: I was double charged.

Pros: Very clean and new cars, Friendly agents and helpful.

Pros: Wszystko zgodnie z ofertą

Pros: Even through I bought full insurance coverage the agent at the front desk sold me another insurance on the top (something without police report) actually he was scaring me that even tough you have full insurance we don’t accept unless you have police report. Police don’t give report that easily hence I had to buy.

Pros: Their greetings,, They return my mobile and sun glasses

Cons: Nothing

Cons: At the parking area agents are smoking. Area smell too bad. Also not safe.

Pros: Easy to find very friendly

Cons: Hersey cok guzeldi ve cok kolaydi calisan arkadaslar yardimcilardi

Pros: Really helpful.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: كل شيء

Cons: فقط صغر حجم مخزن الشنط

Pros: Their attempt to resolve my issue

Cons: Their overall effort and car provided

Pros: Very helpful staff, good rates

Cons: No ready to listen or change options

Pros: Immaculate car. Clean and modern. Excellent pick up and drop off process. No complaints.

Pros: One of the best car rental experiences I ever had. Lightning fast, and super friendly.

Pros: Every thing was perfect

Cons: Perfect

Pros: fast giving

Cons: car not clean inside

Pros: I received the car very Fast from Istanbul Sabiha airport. The agent was very professional and fast. I got the car I had chosen before.

Pros: سرعة خدمتهم وجودتها The speed and quality of their service

Cons: لا يوجد Nothing

Pros: Everything went well, make sure you read and understand the terms and conditions and you shouldn't have any problems. They will hold a deposit for tolls, etc. but the balance was returned within the 7 day promised period.

Cons: Communication could be better but that's my fault for not learning some basic Turkish (google translate is your friend).

Pros: Same order of that car I booked

Cons: I didn’t take the car. Agent attitude was so bad, not helpful at all. The car i reserved was audi, when i arrived he said it’s not there. He wanted to give me another car and it was bad. Anyways he doesn’t accept cash and his credit card machine is broken and didn’t accept my card. So i had to go rent a car from another rental office. I took a car from avis they were very helpful my card was accepted. Everything were great with them.

Pros: Çok teşekkürler

Cons: Teşekkürler

Pros: It was OK

Cons: They had only one tablet to help the customers. so this took some time but was not very disturbing.

Pros: I booked HS MG big they said in the service but I saw other client took the car and the give me small car

Pros: Well trained staff and so cooperative

Cons: Nothing

Pros: AVEC dropping the car wasn’t friendly

Pros: Car was clean and they have streamlined the registration process significantly from my previous rental with them

Cons: The maintenance of the car needs to be done. I had to fill Adblue as the sign stated that the car would not have started post 100 Km due to it running out. I had no idea what it was and how much to fill. These kinds of matters need to be taken care of by the company before rental.

Pros: The car was in excellent condition, barely a few months old and had only about 6000 kms on the clock.

Cons: The car requires an additive every 10,000 kms which we had to pay for. Car maintenance should be the agency's cost. On returning the car, they didn't mention any additional costs. After we checked in at the airport, i got an sms showing a significant amount deducted from my card. While this amount was fair (tolls and remaining fuel), this should have been mentioned when we returned the car so i could ensure my card wasn't charged over the limit. They did apologize for the oversight.

Pros: Straight forward. And respectful.

Pros: Avec car is baddest rent car ever they don't give me a car they say my credit card is no working but the same place in europcar rental is working & very easy to pick the car

Cons: If there is rating below zero I will give

Cons: لقد تم خصم مبلغ TRY -4,476.54 بعد تسليم السياره ولم يتم ذكر السبب لذلك لن اتعامل مع التطبيق او شركة تأجير السيارات مره أخرى

Pros: Support and comminication

Cons: Nice Meet and great

Cons: The car i was given wasn't the car i booked but i got charged same price and staff didn't even care to explain or do something about it and car was terrible to drive

Pros: Ease of finding the desk and condition of the car

Cons: They changed me some 770.65 USD in total instead of 638.79 USD; and failed to send me a full statement showing any fines or tolls on my request. Please take action.

Pros: the car was good condition and the service at heir desk was professional

Cons: The fuel cost , deducted from my card was not justified as i received the car not full less than full and delivered the same exact level and sent them the video proof of fuel level during receiving , also the front passenger seat was dirty with white stain , still waiting for my deposit amount to be back to my account , also they should send exactly how much amount deducted for fuel and toll fees , which they did not do

Pros: I booked a full-size SUV through the Discover.com website, which was listed as the largest option available. However, when I arrived at Avec Car Rentals at Sabiha Airport in Istanbul, they charged me an additional £80. The customer service at Avec Car Rentals was non-existent, and my overall experience was extremely poor. Based on this, I strongly advise against using this company

Pros: Very good

Cons: Every thing good

Pros: Well trained team

Cons: Nothing to mention

Pros: The type of the care exact as chosen

Cons: lack of the staff at pick up and drop point which takes long time

Pros: when i reach to the counter to pick up the car they stand me 10 minutes after that they told me the car u booked is not available we will gave u same car so trust that guy and i accept when i go to parking to pick the car was not same size it was my very bad experiance

Cons: i called so many times to discovercar .com but no positive responce overall very bad experiance

Pros: While leaving the car if insurance is fully covered they should not tell us to wait

Cons: At the time of drop of car the executive should be polite in speaking

Pros: Staff was helpful and helped me load my bags in the car

Cons: There is no transference in invoice, no English language. Hidden charges. No value for money. Booked suv with suv price and got sedan which is unfair

Pros: deploying more staff on holiday time

Pros: Helpful agents. Clean car and in great condition car.

Cons: I was actually expecting the car to be larger because it said good for 4 bags. But was reasonable

Pros: Car is great same the photo

Pros: Clean and brand new car

Cons: Thier arguement that the insurance qas not paid and that the payment done to discover was only for the commission for discover cars and not for the insurance.

Cons: I paid for full insurance from you applicationand the rental company did not acknowledge it . And made me paid again for the insurance

Pros: The worst thing that ever happen!!! I had a problem with my flight and couldn’t get my car on time so I asked them for something else and they told me they don’t have anything anymore. Well it came out as a lie because i saw a car in the same class + plus i didn’t get a penny back. Do not use this app/website/program!!!

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Customer support on phone is very poor No one answers

Cons: No support

Pros: The service is nice if it wasn't for the delay in refunding the security deposit

Cons: Late refund of the security deposit He hasn't arrived yet.

Pros: De tillhandahåller bilen i rent och gott skick.

Cons: De drog av 700 turkiska lira två dagar efter att de lämnat tillbaka bilen, och jag förstod inte varför och de returnerade inte depositionsbeloppet på 125 euro.

Pros: In fact, I paid a deposit to rent the car, and when I arrived at the office, they did not acknowledge that and asked me to pay again, and the insurance amount was not in my bank account. I called them many times and they did not respond to me.
