Avec Rent A Car at Kayseri International Airport

Pros: On airport pickup, nice clean car. I was unfortunate to have an accident and Avec car were very helpful in sorting out the required paper work.

Cons: Some confusing information about insurance when you have your own insurance.

Pros: All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: Quick pick-up and drop-off at terminal

Pros: Spent a lot of time checking the car upon return although bought zero excess insurance

Cons: Cannot really communicate in English and asked to buy additional insurance when car package already comes with zero excess

Pros: Fast, easy to use. Full insurance option at reasonable price.

Cons: The car had a fault that prevented us from using the cruise control. Full insurance option should be made available on the website when booking. It was only offered at 9 euros per day at the counter, otherwise they said there was no insurance coverage. And even after opting in for full insurance coverage, I still had to wait for the car to be fully inspected before I could leave.

Pros: The rental process was quick and efficient, which I really appreciated. The service was fast and straightforward, allowing me to start my trip without any major delays.

Cons: On the downside, I was given the car with a low tire, which triggered a warning on the dashboard right from the beginning. I had to stop to inflate it, losing valuable time and dealing with unnecessary stress that could have been avoided with a proper check beforehand.

Cons: The person at the booking booth didn't speak English fluently. In places like Cappadocia Airport where the maximum customers are non Turkish spoken people this should be considered. The communication gap resulted in me paying for the same insurance twice

They said that this Avec insure was in case of accident I would not have to pay Avec for the damage and wait for Discover car insurance to reimburse me later. This is a SCAM.

Pros: The rental is good, no issues. Rental process was all good and easy.

Cons: they moved their office to airport and it was not conveyed to us . So we waited outside for 15-20 min for the person to come and meet us as per the instructions. There was no communication regarding this, when I called them it was mentioned that the office is inside the airport. The drop off was not great. The guy was rushing us to get out of the car.

Cons: The car we booked was supposed to come with air conditioning but they substituted a small SUV that did not have air conditioning or hill assist! In Gureme there are many hills and sudden stops!

Pros: Hire car was as we expected rather than a similar type which sometimes happens.

Cons: No meet and greet on arrival despite the voucher saying as such. We waited for over 30 minutes and tried calling the hire car company, only for our initial text message to just have a "Hi" reply and nothing else. When the phone was answered by the hire car agent he hung up! We eventually discovered that the hire car company did have a kiosk in the terminal, tucked away. We complained to the agent who acknowledged that the company had just move to the new kiosk.

Pros: The car we rented was new, very clean, and we received exactly what we rented. The guys from Avec were very nice, friendly and professionals. The prices are very good. We received from them a package with still water and wet wipes when we got the car, very nice gesture. They come at the airport to pick you and also bring you back at the airport when you leave the car.

Over charged us, we paid nearly double what we had agreed to pay through DiscoverCars
