Arnold Clark at Edinburgh Airport

Pros: Arnold Clark was one of the best rental companies I’ve ever experienced. Very professional, friendly, helpful team with a great car.

Cons: Friendly and helpful with pickup and drop off.

Pros: Lots of agents to help and quick check in.

Cons: The car needed new wiper blades.

Pros: They were very efficient and straight forward.

Cons: Hard to find pickup location at airport. Not sure why it cost an additional 60 pounds to drop off a car before store hours!!

Pros: Friendly service. Got a brand new Mercedes which we were not expecting. That was a nice surprise.

Cons: We had difficulty finding the pickup spot in order to get to Arnold Clark. After finding it and being transported to the actual rental car agency, we had a 1.5 hour wait to get the car. The van driver was especially nice and accommodating, though.

Cons: Tough to find where to go to rent car

Cons: Took a long time to get picked up at airport, then there wasn't enough room for everyone, so some of my family members had to stay and wait for the shuttle to return, meanwhile after we were dropped off, the driver couldn't leave to go get stranded family members because he was waiting for returning passengers to airport. A little frustrating mostly because I have a member who is diabetic and I expressed that to staff.

Pros: They solved the problem with the size of the car, had coffee and water and entertainment for the kids.

Cons: I couldn't easily find the phone to call for the pick up at the airport.

Cons: Took really long to return the car and had to wait again for transportation to the airport. We rented a 9 person-van which did not have any park assist. No beeping sound when driving in reverse and no way to see the back end of the van because of its model. I think it is very cheap to get vans of that size with no parking assist.

Cons: Location of the petrol service relative to the car hire office ; difficult to get even with the GPS... a lot of roundabout.
