With that in mind, these are some of the most interesting attractions in and around Eindhoven:

• Van Abbemuseum. Although not especially large, Eindhoven’s main art museum punches way above its weight when it comes to its collection — among the paintings on display are works by such world-famous masters as Picasso, Kandinsky, and Mondrian. • Churches. Eindhoven is home to a large number of impressive churches, most of which are distinct examples of the Brabantine Gothic and Neogothic styles. • Maastricht. Known for its many universities and proximity to Belgium and Germany, Maastricht is one of the most international cities in the Netherlands. Better yet, it is known as the culinary capital of the country and also boasts a large number of heritage buildings and quality museums. Located about 86 km (53 miles) south of Eindhoven, it can be reached by car in 1 hour and 10 minutes.
• Antwerp. Located in the north of neighboring Belgium, just a 75 minute drive west of Eindhoven, Antwerp is a worthy day trip destination. Known for its major port, historic diamond industry, and high quality of living, Antwerp has also plenty to offer in terms of impressive architecture, varied cultural institutions, and entertainment. Location

Eindhoven Airport is about 7.6 km (4.7 mi) west of Eindhoven. Flight Forum, Anthony Fokkerweg, A2/N2, Tilburgseweg, Beukenlaan, and Philitelaan are the main roads connecting the airport to the city.

Car rental desks

Many are in the separate car rental office building, which is located at Luchthavenweg 13 right next to the airport. It can be reached by turning to the left when you leave the airport through its main exit.

There are also ATMs, a currency exchange, a children’s play area, baby changing facilities, a first aid station, a meditation center, an observation deck, and a photobooth. Luggage lockers are located in the airport’s main hall. Do keep in the mind that the airport is closed at night. Most of Eindhoven Airport’s facilities are well equipped for passengers with reduced mobility.
