• Schlossplatz. The most famous area of the city, Castle Square, is both an attraction in its own right and the location of many of Stuttgart’s most famous landmarks. The Daimler and Benz families hailed from the area and the Mercedes-Benz headquarters is located here, so it is only appropriate that Stuttgart is also home to the official Mercedes-Benz Museum. Located in a unique building and greeting nearly 1 million visitors every year, the museum showcases cars from different eras and also explains the history of the company in an interactive way. Those who liked a visit here will probably also enjoy a visit to the Porsche Museum which is only a 20-minute drive to the northwest.
• Wilhelma. This is a historic zoological and botanical garden in Stuttgart, Germany. Originally built as a royal palace in the mid-19th century, it has since been transformed into a popular attraction with a wide variety of exotic animals, diverse plant species, and stunning architectural elements that make it a unique destination for visitors of all ages.
• The Stuttgart TV Tower. The Stuttgart TV Tower, also known as the Fernsehturm Stuttgart, is a distinctive telecommunications tower located in Stuttgart, Germany. Standing at a height of 216 meters, it offers an observation deck with panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside, making it a popular tourist attraction and a prominent landmark in Stuttgart.
• Heidelberg. Notable for its old universities, baroque architecture, and historic feel, Heidelberg is one of the loveliest destinations in this part of the country.
