We chose a Renault Captiva, small enough to park easily in some tight car parks but decent speed on the motorway. We spent 4 weeks touring France and had so many great trips but visits to Metz, Strasbourg, Riquewihr, Colmar, Annecy, L’Abbaye de Frigolet, Les Baux de Provence, Carcassonne, St Cirq-La-Popie, Perigueux, La Rochelle (aquarium especially), Vannes, St Malo and Honfleur stood out.
