Working hour Pick-up instruction (Between 08:00 am – 06:00 pm):
1. Once you have collected your luggage, please call 0064 21 226 6664 and let the represrntative know that you're ready to be picked up by company shuttle. Usually, the shuttle bus will arrive around 10-15 mins (Depending on the traffic conditions).
2. Follow the signs for transfers and exit at door D, where you will find the shuttle transfer area. The Shuttle Transfer Area is outside the AIR NEW ZEALAND Check-in Area.
3. Please wait in the shuttle transfer area for the White Hao Rental Shuttle van (Plate number: HAOCAR) and signal the driver. You will be transferred to the office for vehicle collection.
Note: The reception working hour is 08:00 to 18:00. The last free shuttle pick up (from the airport to the branch) or drop off (from the branch to the airport) is 17:30. If you call to request a shuttle pick up or drop off between 17:30 to 07:59, the 50NZD off-hour services fees per time will be applied. And off-hour service fees are not refundable.
Off-hours pick-up instruction (Between 06:01 pm-07:59 am)
1. If you are collecting your vehicle after the business hours—between 06:01 pm and 07:59 am—you will need to contact the representative (info@haorentals.co.nz) at least two working days before the pick-up to complete the online check-in. All After-Hours Pick-Ups must be prearranged and are NZ $50.00 (including airport transfer).
2. If you fail to pick up at the off-hour, the car will be ready for pick up at the branch until the next day at 11:30 am.

Working hours Pick-up instruction (Between 08:00 am – 06:00 pm):
1. Please ensure that you are at the Christchurch airport & have cleared customs & security before requesting the shuttle. Once you have collected your luggage, please call 0064 21 769 888 OR 0064 3 360 3113 and let Hao Rentals know that you're ready to be picked up by the shuttle. Usually, the shuttle bus will arrive around 5-10 mins (Depending on the traffic conditions).
2. Please make your way to Door 1 of Christchurch Airport's Domestic Terminal (signs for "Car Rental Transfers"). Directly outside of Door 1 is a row of bus shelters - the shuttle will arrive just outside of Door 1 once requested. The shuttle bus with the sign of Airpark Canterbury will pick you up and take you to Hao Rentals’ office.
The shuttle bus with the sign of Airpark Canterbury will pick you up, take you to office, and get the car key. Please take the van with the “Logistics Drive” sign on the windscreen.
Off-hours pick-up instruction (Between 06:01 pm-07:59 am)
If you are collecting your vehicle after the business hours - you will need to contact car rental provider’s After Hours Pick Up team. All After Hours Pick Ups must be prearranged and are NZ $50.00 (including airport transfer). If you do not have an After Hours Pick Up listed on your confirmation please contact Hao Rentals and Hao Rentals can add this to your booking. Once prearranged, when you arrive at Christchurch Airport you will need to contact Airpark Canterbury on 03 360 3113 / 0800 24 77 27. Hao Rentals will charge the full amount due for the rental on the working day before your rental begins - using the credit card you have supplied when booking. To ensure your vehicle will be waiting for you at the after hours service, please ensure there are adequate funds on this credit card. The pick up locations for the after hours provider are the same as noted above.

Note: The reception working hour is 08:00 to 18:00. The last free shuttle pick up (from the airport to the branch) or drop off (from the branch to the airport) is 17:30. If you call to request a shuttle pick up or drop off between 17:30 to 07:59, the 50NZD off-hour services fees per time will be applied. And off-hour service fees are not refundable.

1. The shuttle will take about 15-20 minutes to reach the Yes Rentals depot.
For off-hours pick-up (6:01 PM – 7:59 AM): If collecting the vehicle outside business hours, contact +64 92 800 470 in advance to arrange for pick-up. Ensure sufficient funds are available on the provided credit card for the rental amount, which will be charged the working day before the rental. All off-hours pickups must be prearranged. Upon arrival at Auckland Airport, contact Aripark (Heartland Hotel).

Pour parcourir les 2 îles (ce que j’ai eu la chance de faire, et ce que je recommande pleinement), l’idéal selon moi est de pouvoir répartir 6 à 8 semaines, avec ⅔ tier de ce temps alloué à l’île du sud (qui reste un cran plus impressionnante que la voisine du nord).

Allez en Nouvelle Zélande ! L'île Nord nous a permis de découvrir les plages de sable noir à Muriwai, Waiheke Island, la forêt ancestral de Waipoua, des chutes et grottes incroyables, Hobbiton, un village Maori, des sources géothermales surréalistes, des plages magnifiques et des stations balnéaires de surfeurs chills!
Très difficile de découvrir toutes ces merveilles sans voiture...en revanche le réseau routier est dangereux, il faut être très prudent (bzaucoup de 2 voies sans séparation centrale et nombreux reliefs et tournants). Mais ça vaut le coup!

J’ai parcouru environ 5 000 kilomètres sur l’île du Nord et ensuite l’île du Sud et la Toyota Yaris était parfaite étant tout seul. Le coffre était juste assez grand pour la valise et un sac de délestage pour cacher mes bagages quand je stationnai mon véhicule. La voiture était confortable grâce au système de conduite automatique, la climatisation le GPS grâce au téléphone connecté.
