Spokane Airport used to be known as Geiger Field, and before that, Sunset Field. Spokane’s airport code is GEG to reflect its previous name. Car rentals are pos  sible here. On the north side of the airport, you will find Budget, Avis, Enterprise, Alamo, Dollar, and Thrifty car rentals.

Redmond Airport is a regional airport. This means it serves the direct area of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and some select other states. Anyone flying to international or major cities not located near the region will most likely connect through Portland, Seattle, or Denver.

Terminals

The passenger terminal is comprised of the ground transportation center and Concourses A, B, and C. Courcouse A and B are interconnected, and you can walk in-between these areas. Concourse C is its own area.

Location

Spokane Airport is about 5 mi (8 km) west of downtown Spokane. Airport Drive, I-90/US-2, and Lincoln Street are the main roads connecting the airport to the city.

Car rental desks

Most can be reached by following the signs to the ground transportation center. The exact location of your car rental provider's desk will be listed on your Confirmation Voucher. Utility trucks, van rentals, and special vehicle rentals are found just outside of the airport on Electric Avenue and W Geiger Boulevard.

Services and facilities

Although the airport is quite small, you’ll find a nice variety of restaurants, fast food outlets, and cafeterias, as well as a convenience store, a newsstand, and other shops. This includes Starbucks (Concourse A,B, and C), Burger King, and Quiznos. You’ll also find dine-in restaurants like the Spokane Tap Room, Aurora Pub, and Coeur d’Alene Trail. There are ATMs, a mobile device charging station, water bottle filling stations, and a barber shop (Flying Shears). Wi-Fi is free throughout the airport. Most facilities at Spokane Airport are equipped for travelers with reduced mobility; special assistance, including wheelchairs, is also offered, but be sure to inform your airline in advance if you’d like this service.

Nearest gas station

Pacific Pride gas station at 7109 W Will D Alton Drive can be reached in about ten minutes and is open 24/7. There are many other gas stations near Spokane Airport and on the way to the city.
