Aqualand was good chose instead of Siam as kids were 8 and 11, heard the queues at siam were massive but no queues at Aqualand, the Dolphin show was really good too.
Loro park was good too get there early to see all the shows and have time to walk around it all leaving time for kids to play on the park and the one small roller coaster only 1€ each.

Have own Villa and stayed a month so just like having a Car at Home in UK. Would recommend La Gomera ... Whale/Dolphin Boat Trip ... Star Gazing over the years. The Trick is to Visit several seaside Outlets/Desks (not necessarily the Hotel ones) to Negotiate the Prices. Of course in a single week's holiday this may Not be Practical though!

We hired a car to drive to our hotel in Jandia as it was easier and cheaper than taxis or transfers. We enjoyed a very smooth and interesting drive down the island. Other than that we had 5 wonderful night stay at Ibereostar Palace - a very relaxing break in a beautiful area

The roads and general ease of driving for a first time visitor to Fuerteventura could bot really be any better. We loved the landscape and the wild, rugged undeveloped areas of coast and the interior.

Take a full look at your procedures, very small print to identify we actually had a car booked with Euro Car, who are Keddy?
Not staff at pick up point for car, vehicle badly scratched with a check list of items I had to agree before going to the car, then picture each one myself and phone in to complain about any additional marks I found, car not Valeted/cleaned at all well and not full of petrol. I did phone Euro car and make the complaints the following day.

The hire car was definitely a good decision as I like nature and it helped me access lots of remote places and quiet spots on the island without complication. Teide national park, Anaga national park, Radazul Bay and Buenavista Del Norte were my highlights.

From popping to Siam Mall, making trips to different areas and towns to exploring Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz. You see so.much more of the area
We saw the Carnival, watched live football at CD Tenerife and visited loro parque and monkey park. We also visited a spa in the hills, Los Cristianos, las Americas, Los Gigantes and generally drove around.
It is definitely recommended

We used the car a lot to visit lots of different resorts around the coast. We also went inland to San Bertolame de Tirjuana. The roads were incredible and some quite frightening but we absolutely loved it.
