We've liked the service we received from record-go. It was relatively easy to find the shelter at the pick up location. The gentleman (a Tenerife local whose name I didn't get) that dealt with me at pick up and drop off was very nice and helpful. Offered me a choice between two different cars and when my scatter brain forgot to refill the car before returning, he allowed me to go and do that quick as I was a bit early anyhow. We had a good chat afterwards. The automatic KIA car we received was quite new, 9k on the odometer, and only one scratch at the front which was no issue at the return. The car was a bit dusty, but that's the canary islands for you, the volcanic sand goes everywhere. Can't fault anything otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend them.

We toured the island - stayed in 6 different places to be able to spend a bit of time in different areas, visited different beaches, places to eat and shops. Visited an old Canarian house and mill - very interesting. Also stayed on a family finca (farm) with cave - that was an interesting change from the normal tourist spots. The car meant we had ease of travelling to all the different places

If you decide to visit Roque Nublo you will find limited parking probably all taken, carry on past in the direction of Picos de Nievas and you'll come to a wooded picnic and camping area. park here and walk back through the woods
