Lanzarote is voor ons veruit het mooiste eiland van de Canarische Eilanden. Natuur primeert, de bouwwoede zoals elders in Spanje is tijdelijk aan banden gelegd en bouwen is streng gereguleerd. Prachtige landschappen, voldoende afwisseling in activiteiten zowel voor jonge en minder jonge toeristen, sporters en minder sportieve mensen. Voldoende keuze in hotels, restaurants, shopping. We hadden geluk met het weer (begin december), onze vakantie was meer dan geslaagd.

De stranden zijn goed. Het eten was goed. Soms is de informatie niet kloppend. Bijvoorbeeld een grote markt bezoeken blijkt dat since Corona deze niet meer bestaat. Dus een half uur heen en half uur terug. Maar geen stress want wij hadden vakantie. Benzine €1,35 per liter, dus crossen maar over het eiland.
