Had plenty of golf at Wyndham Geand Rio Mar River and Ocean courses as well as Grand Hyatt Reserve and our favorite El Conquistador. Made some ventures to the casino and did some walking in the El Yunque Rain Forest.

We drove 220 miles on mainland PR, from El Yunque to the central hills for ziplining. We parked it each night at Ballaja in Old San Juan, near where we stayed. Having a simple, small, fuel-efficient car was really nice.

Great eateries all over Puerto Rico. I was very happy with Martin's BBQ (Island chain, local foods), and Cariño's Pizza in Toa Baja (excellent calzones and customer service). Isla de Cabras National Park was an absolute treat. Views of El Morro, rarely seen. Very clean, quiet, relaxing beach, with many gazebos, and coconut trees everywhere. Bring your cooler and beach chairs. You know the rest.

The places I visited were amazing. I would totally recommend driving up the coast of the island and stopping to see different beaches and towns on the way to Guayama. I would totally stay on Lake Carite again and drive to El Yunque National Forest.
