Pros: Really nothing but drop off was not as onerous as pick up.

Cons: I have rented many cars but have never encountered a business like this. The car was absolutely filthy. Took two hours fifteen minutes to obtain car as lobby was swamped with inadequate personnel. I rented the car for a little over $300. but the added charges brought the total to $693. This is a corrupt business. Eventually left at 12:30am with an empty tank. I have only had positive experiences with Discover Cars. I will be careful with you in the future if I ever make use of your services.

There were 5 of them at the counter yet it took over 30 minutes for someone to get our car. While I was being checked out loud music was being played and I can barely hear the rude representative checking me in.

Plus, they sent 2 more different quotes to my email for the rental? Then, they finally gave me a different overall quote for the rental. It was actually reasonable for the time I had the car but very confusing. I would not rent here again.

Pros: Employee Eliot was extremely helpful and honest about the situation. He was working tirelessly for all the customers there despite being at work for >24 hrs, and was one of the most professional workers I experienced during my entire stay in PR.

Pros: We ended up somehow with allied car and truck rental, not routes. Not sure if they were bought out or something. We chose this rental because it was much cheaper than others. But after they force you into their insurance and all these other fees and charges you end up paying way more. And they don’t give you any itemized details of what you are paying for until you drop the car back off.

Cons: Worse than that, they rented us a car that wasn’t ready. After waiting for that car for 45 mins, they brought us a different one. We got our kids and all our bags loaded into it and then they made us get back out because it was rented to someone else. So we waited another half hour for the one they were supposed to rent us in the first place. And they absolutely do not care about the service they are providing. The person at the desk literally said it wasn’t his problem.

Cons: Didn’t get car we paid for and they were dirty. Everyone that works there looked like they needed a pot of coffee! No energy no smiles and waited 3 hours for our car! That we didn’t even order, apparently ours that we paid for and reserved was not in !

Cons: The process was extremely slow, took over an hour to get our vehicle. The car had terrible breaks and the "oil change required" indicator light came on shortly after we started our trip. Upon returning the car, the staff was rude and complained that the interior was dirty, when there was only a bit of sand on the all-weather floor mats. I was never given a final receipt, even when asked. I will not be using them again.

Cons: Rude, unapologetic service who had several bad things to say about renting using discover cars. After taking several hours, I walk up to the desk and the attendant looks at me and states “we don’t have your rental cars” which was an incredibly stressful first statement to make. Somehow about 5 minutes later she changed her mind and had one of the two suvs I had reserved. Not a great experience even though we ended up having two cars to drive but only one of what we paid for.

Pros: The service provided by Routes was excellent. The car was clean and came in great condition. The staff was friendly and we weren’t charged for unnecessary fees. It worked out perfect for our trip and made getting around the island a breeze!

Only Hugo from the other side of the allied facility was able to ease the situation and resolve to what he could do by getting another agent to assist us.

Cons: Car are not maintained properly. Kis Sedona battery died , jeep grand Cherokee- wheel air slowly getting flat filled about 15 times within 2 days and paid $1 ea h time. Third car Kia Sedona had roaches in the center console. How in the world does a car get infested with roaches?? Send pictures to the general manager via email didnt bother in ever getting back to us.Spend $6 on raid because it was too late and tired of driving back to your location to deal with rude unempatetic employees.

Cons: The car rental company cancelled my rental, and told me it was discover cars problem; to which, I’m still jumping through the various hoops that discover cars wants me to jump through to be refunded for their reservation being cancelled and me being out of a car.

Wasted a day of my rental and vacation getting them fixed. Not just slow service, but unfriendly at both locations I went to (one for pickup, one for repairs). No number to call the actual locations to ask questions or request repair. Only the 24/hr roadside assistance number, which couldn’t help unless stranded.

Cons: We waited in line at Allied Car & Truck rental for over two hours to pick up our rental car after waiting for their shuttle service for nearly an hour. When they pulled it around, I was shocked to see the condition of the car (dented, scratched, and missing two hub caps). There were also many hidden fees they charged, that I am only just now seeing on the receipt after having poured through the terms and conditions upon booking. Simply unacceptable.

The employee spoke softly and looked annoyed when we had to ask to repeat. Required insurance but had not told us. Took a long time. Had to turn around and go ask about the tire pressure warning. The employee came out and said it was a faulty sensor (but did not check tire pressure). He could have told us prior (or he made it up).

Pros: Terrible, terrible, terrible service!! Arrived to rental place at 1 am and did not leave until 4am! Only one person attending for over 10 people in line waiting to pick up their car. Process for each person took well over 30 min. We paid for a Jeep and they didn't have it available, then the cr they offered was not even ready! The security guard did us a favor by actually cleaning the car, only had 1/4 of gas and we had about an hour and half drive and barely any gas stations open. Never again!!

If you read allied/routes car rental reviews it looks like we're not the only ones with the same experience.

Also, I reserved a car for five people and five bags, and we had a tiny car and literally had to put our suitcases under our feet and sit crisscross applesauce.

They then made 0 accommodations and despite having a vehicle available they refused to honor our payment and told us we would have to make a new reservation and pay again. They stole $1000 from us without providing any service or any refund.

I had a 15 month old with me waiting for the car for an hour. First they tried to give me some shitty car but then they realized I was watching them while they were bringing the car from the lot. Then they took back the shitty car saying it had mechanical trouble. My kid was crying as it was her nap time.
