Cons: Several customers in line in front of me had made reservations and prepaid for their rentals. No cars were available to them. They had no car for me.I had to wait until somebody returned one, and they put me in it without cleaning it. Spent over two hours to pick up the rent a car. I used my own insurance for the rental. Someone hit-and-run the car. While it was parked, they made me put up a deposit and refused to do Deal with my insurance company at all

Pros: The car was exceptionally clean as it was brand new.

Cons: I understand it’s busy around Xmas but I sat in line for a good 40 mins and no ody even addressed me or said sorry for wait, nothing and was not apologetic sbout no suv at all - acted as like i get paid $2/hr i really don’t care if u don’t get what you reserved. Noone even looks at you when you walk in the door.

Pros: Very friendly and informative staff.

Cons: Extremely poor customer support via email. I reported that I was unable to reach the rental desk by phone (rapid busy signal), a day prior to travel, and on the day of pickup. I had to take a taxi, at my expense, to the Europcar pickup. The staff member acknowledged a phone system problem, but Europcar did not bother to provide an alternate phone number. The responses from Europcar email customer support was completely useless. They did not even provide a customer service phone number.

Pros: I shortened my original car rental time & received my discount within days.

Cons: They are a very popular car rental company so do download the app, reserve in advance & arrive early to claim your car. They do need more agents at peak times so expect to wait a few more minutes for service as there can be line ups for car pickup/drop off.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Insurance
The following insurance type(s) Theft protection (TP), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Third Party Liability (TPL) is (are) not included for residents of Canada, USA.
Third Party Liability (TPL), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft protection (TP) can be declined, if the renter can provide his/her own insurance.
Insurance is accepted only if issued in the following country(ies): Puerto Rico, USA.
In case the customer does not have one of the insurances, mentioned above, the customer will need to purchase insurance at the counter.
More details about self-insurance requirements are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
Deposit and deductible policy


Payment policy
At the time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.

Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
