Smart Rent Aruba at Oranjestad Airport

Pros: The service was great, but the condition of the car was terrible. Very old car, very dirty inside and with several crashes

Cons: Car conditions (very old and dirty). It didn't appear to be a rental car. I only kept the car because after a long trip I had no option. On the other hand, Regina's service (attendant) was great.

Pros: Tuvimos que espera un rato en la zona designada en el aeropuerto pe que nos recogieran. Una persona de otra compañía le aviso que atábamos ahí.

Pros: when we first got to smart rent they gave us a free upgrade to a very nice and new car. They told us that we were not allowed to go to the national parks. The next day we went to the kitebeach and on return the car did not start cause we were out of the allowed area. They came to take the car and gave us a really really old car.

Cons: the old car was fine, but not very clean, no sound system and we had to pay the full price. they even wanted to charge us a fine for going out of the area (it was a paved road und we were on the parking lot. not at all off road)

Pros: The only positive part of the rental was the employees were courteous and apologized for experience

Cons: See above and the rental was not the airport but off-site and made pick up and drop off difficult

Pros: Car we received was in bad condition. But an agent exchanged the car next day when we found out flat tire.

Pros: It was efficient, located close to the airport and offered reasonable value for the money.

Cons: The first car offered had mechanical problems. After my complained it was exchanged for a better car in much better condition.

Cons: The car I got at the rental was very damaged and have been in a mayor accident, wheel alignment was off and a lots of damage on the front

Pros: The employees are very helpful and friendly.

Cons: Some of the car are quite old, the first one we rented at the second day we were driving it, the aircon just stopped working. We called the company and they brought us a new car in literally 20minutes. The service provided by these employees made up for whatever small issue the car might have. Considering the price you pay, it's fair. Car was not brand new but did bring us from point A to point B.

Pros: They provide fast service and competitive price.

Cons: The car was not in perfect condition. Too old for which we were not aware when making our booking.

Pros: The man that help us, the rest was not good we also needed to clean the car when we drop it.

Cons: No automatic window, no automatic Doors, a lot of damaged, the tailgate rubber was to small so it was diffecult to close it. In the netherlands it was not allowed to drive in this car.

Cons: Car was not at the airport when we arrived - then the next afternoon when we went to pick it we were asked to leave an open signed credit card slip for an unlimited amount. This was 1 exactly not what they decribe you will have to do in their paperwork which states," Refundable security deposit US$ 500.00 (~£ 375.00)A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and the depo

Cons: Once the car didn't start. Problem was solved by a passenger. The battery was disconnected.

Pros: The car had some scratches and bumps - but they were all fully recorded on the paperwork and made absolutely no difference to my usage

Cons: Our flight was delayed and I had to pay $30, even though we got in at 630 pm and the lady on phone said the charge would be if it were later than 700pm

Cons: They started at the airport at arrival that they had a family and that they want to go home asa possible/and in fact that we had to pay extra. Although they knew our ETA and the plane was in time. Smart Rent never again, discover is not to blame.

Pros: Very nice people. Would rent again. Just a little yes it find for drop off so pay attention when you pick up. They were very efficient. Picked us up at airport - no wait - very nice. It’s hot at airport but not far and they were efficient. My only dislike was that it was a little out-of-the-way to find a drop off.

Pros: Fast response to calls and messages! Always there to assist you. Friendly people.
