Pick-up instructions
The SANI SIXT branch is situated in the car rental building of the airport. Upon leaving the arrivals hall, follow the signs to the car rental area. As you exit the terminal building, closest to the convenience store "Woolworths", you will see signage directing you through the tunnel to the car rental area. Keep right in the tunnel and when you reach the exit, you will find the SANI SIXT branch to your right.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: When picking up the car, the "pre-inspected" report provided by the staff failed to mention several pieces of obvious body damage. We aren’t talking about minor surface scratches; there were clear dings and scuffs that any professional should have caught within thirty seconds of walking around the vehicle. Why This Is Concerning The lack of attention to detail during the hand-off is a major red flag for any traveler.

Cons: Pickup vehicle had temporary registration plates that expired before my last day of rental which meant I had to waste my holiday time to get that rectified. The initial vehicle had a broken parcel shelf where the vehicle was changed to another with the same issue and in poor condition full of scratches and dents. The second vehicle also reeked of cigarette smoke and had rattles when driving. This was a very poor rental experience from start to finish

Cons: We received the car with big chip in the forward window, when we the drop the car they found another small chip. We drove only on highways and didn’t experience any stone that hit the window. We are now 2 days after drop off date and still haven’t received the deposit.

Pros: Actually it was First Car Rental that we dealt with. Representatives were polite, professional, but when it was clear that we did not book directly with First, they seemed to change their interest.

Cons: It seemed because we did not book directly with them, but went through Discover Car, they were not interested in us. Our paper work reflected a P/U Monday, Sept 26, 2022 at 9:00 AM. We called & notify we were running late. 11:00 AM local time we P/U the car and they started the time at 9:00 AM, Not 11:00 AM. Next, the first car they gave us had a terrible front vibration. They said to return to the airport and they would change out the car, that took 1.5 hours. 4 hrs into the lease at AP

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 715.00), Contract fee, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications, State Tax.

The following surcharges may apply: Premium Location surcharge.
The following mandatory surcharge(s) will be applied: Rental contract fee.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 21.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.

Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 60 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
