RentScape at Bordeaux Airport

Cons: No one answers the phones. The office was empty - we tried 10 times and no one answered. No communication at all - completely on our own

Pros: Fair pricing, decent cars and good english speaking staff.

Cons: The cross-border pricing was 89eur instead of 50eur that others charge. Also the daily range limits are just a plain stupid concept that hasn't existed before and should be abolished.

Pros: Nothing. Lots of waiting and the staff were a bit rude.

Cons: When we pointed out the vomit we were told we would have to wait for the car to be valeted and they didn’t know how long it would take. We had 2 small children with us, lots of luggage and it was 36 degree heat. We insisted on a different car, and when we said we didn’t mind a smaller car than we had booked, another car of the type we had booked was given to us.

Pros: Near new, economical vehicle, reasonable price

Cons: Customer service could have been better.

Cons: Office shut when we arrived. No allowance made for late flight despite having our flight number. Had to rent another car at further cost the next morning plus pay hotel costs. Communication between Opodo and RentScape very bad. Opodo gave us wrong opening hours for RentScapes office at Bordeaux airport.

Pros: None. Service was very poor

Cons: Poor customer service. Agent provided no helpful information about my booking. Did not clarify limited mileage, existing damage on the car or the optional insurances etc. Even though I provided my email address she sent the contract to the wrong address so I did not see the condition report. Even after clarifying this at drop off I was told the contract would be sent to the correct email and it still hasnt been sent. Tank was not full at pick up either.

Pros: Very patient, friendly staff. The car was in perfect condition, clean and ready for collection by the time I arrived.

Cons: The wait time for collecting the car felt a bit long. It would be helpful to have at least one more staff member during peak season - there were 2 staff members at the time I went to collect my car. One more available would have eased the waiting time.

Cons: you get a 50% chance to have rude staff. their signature process is not transparent.

Pros: The car was dirty when we picked it up… Old windshield superstar that need to be replaced. Oil change was needed Side rear view mirrors were disengaged Dents and scratches all over

Cons: They wanted 30 euros extra for cleaning the car. This is not mentioned on the Rental agreement with Discover Cars. I declined and cleaned the interior myself.

Cons: No one around to return car.,if there was they would have signed off on good car condition. No damage and full tank of gas. I haven’t gotten my deposit because I get emails saying there was damage. No reg number no contract number. No pictures and no description. There was one scratch on the car rear bumper before I left the lot and that’s the only thing I noticed and photographed. There is no damage to the vehicle and this is ruining my Experience with discover cars. This is false charges.

Cons: Upon returning the car, tiny scratches were found on the plastic trims above wheel-arches. I was assured I would receive a report on the cost within two days. I explained that I needed this promptly to enable a claim to be made on my Excess Insurance. I am still waiting - four days later. However it seems that an unidentified sum has been deducted from my credit card. It is not the same reference as with the hire. I can only assume that it relates to the damage. No explanation or invoice given

Pros: I wish I could say something I liked about Rentscape Bordeaux but there wasn't really anything. The whole process and interaction was the worst I'd ever experienced from any company I've interacted with

Cons: Unfortunately there was no car seat when we arrived and had to wait about 50 minutes. This was frustrating as we'd requested one on the booking and we emailed a few days before to remind them.

Cons: The signs to drop car off (to any rental) were confusing and I went trhough the wrong barrier and had to pay a drop off passenger fee and went round the airport twice

Pros: Good quality car for reasonable price, however our friends received a terrible car so it is really luck of the draw I think.

Cons: Trying to sell insurance at silly prices! Also that some cars they offered were poor quality and when questioned they would not accept it and said we needed to discuss with discovercars. Rentscape supply the car and it should be of good standard.

Cons: I got a car with not a full tank. One of the headlights was not working, which I discovered a bit later.

Cons: Car was scratched on a lot of places, and I really mean a lot. We didn’t need a fancy car to go to a wedding or anything, so it was not a problem for us this time but could have been.

Cons: There was zero customer service!! There cars looked like they had been bought from an auction that day . None were clean , smelt of smoke and looked like it had been Bangor racing . When I asked to change car over concerns for the safety of it they weren’t interested. Pay a bit more money and look at the other companies on site there .

Cons: Tried to add a daily charge of 5euro per day for breakdown coverage - this should be included in the price of a car rental, not an add-on fee, and it is not something I have ever been asked for before. They said they had emailed me the rental agreement and would not provide me with a printed copy. Rental agreement never appeared even after returning the car, double checking my email, and asking for it to be sent to a different email address. Still haven't received refund for Adblue cost

Pros: Collection was straightforward and drop off was very smooth meeting us in the car park.

Cons: The vehicle (BMW 3 series estate) had a badly broken drivers wing mirror. Coupled with the poor windscreen wipers, it meant that driving the car in the very wet weather we had for the week felt quite unsafe.

Pros: Rentscape was incredible. They were friendly, efficient, and quick. There was no hassle at all. Also, they were also extremely helpful!

Cons: Didn’t like the service from the guys at collection and dropping of the car, I got wrong car it was damaged, dirty, had scratches, dents. Behaviour of few colleagues appalling and rude, when I mentioned about the condition of the car they mentioned this is only car for me if I like or not I have take the car. Mind you this was at 8:45 evenings time raining I had my family with 3 kids waiting had no choice but to take it.
