Cons: When we arrived at the rental place, they charged us €30 because we arrived later than we had stated on the booking. I have never rented a car where this was a factor. It feels ridiculous to pay for picking up a car a few hours later, even though it was rented out for the whole day. They told us if we didn't pay we weren't getting the car. Also the car we got was also not "similar to a fiat 500", it was a much cheaper car.

Cons: Need to dobasic checks more thoroughly. First car provided the horn (claxon) did not work. Second car there was no water in windscreen wash.

Cons: Poor customer service. No information and had to find out myself that the car was cancelled and I was left with no alternatives. Despite informing my flight number and that it was easy to spot a delay arriving in Lyon airport

Pros: Car was very scratched, and covered in flies, clean inside however. The screen wash was empty which was annoying and the petrol was not full but I took photos of everything and the man who checked it in return confirmed that was ok, however I am still waiting for the security deposit to be released on my card.

Cons: General condition of car considering the price, and having to call them to be collected, and the answer message was in French, which is fine as I was in France, however it was difficult to interpret.

Pros: Friendly, efficient service

Cons: It was impossible to find the driver to the car hire location. We ended up paying for a taxi to the location after much frustration.

Cons: My car was not available at rental time, I was offered a downgrade instead, and dirty (it was not ready for rental) (Not the agents' fault but the company's fault as they had no backup plan)

Pros: The car was a good size car for the price. A lot cheaper than the on-site offerings.

Cons: The two main issues with Rentscape are that you may be standing in a car park for a while waiting for the driver to come. We had to horse trade with some other clients as to who should get in the naïveté to the office. This was fine as it was a sunny day. I imagine if it was wet that this would be quite annoying. The only other point to mention is that there is absolutely no scope for our of hours drop offs so if you have an early morning flight these guys are probably not for you as they only 8

Pros: I reserved and paid for a car in September and in January when I came to pick up the car I did not receive the car I paid for. This is a normal practice: the customer who paid is caught and receives a car under what he paid. The customer who enters the door receives a better car.

Cons: It took 10 emails sent to receive the invoice.

Cons: Arranging car collection shuttle was impossible. Looped phone answer message with no feedback of being acknowledged that you were waiting for collection. Staff were rude & unhelpful when collecting car. Returning car, staff member was very helpful & friendly.

Cons: genuinely the worst experience I've ever had renting a car. rentscape gave a terrible car, unpleasant staff, deposit still not returned so having to speak to bank to charge back, wrong directions to even find mini van to take us to get car, please do not use rentscape, I wish I'd looked at more reviews

Cons: We booked a 4 seat car but were initially offered a 2 seater which we declined. We were told we would have to pay more for an upgrade. We refused. Eventually given this old Citreon 3 which is ready for the scrap heap.
