Cons: The car had lots of milage, the tires were finished, the interior panels were falling off or held with duct tape, the car was not very well equipped.

Many highways in mainland Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of1.85 EUR day up to a maximum of 18.5 EUR rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
