Megadrive
Working in two Central European countries, Megadrive is a partner of DiscoverCars.com in Hungary and Austria. In the former country, it serves its magnificent capital, Budapest, while in the latter it can be found in the Austrian capital of Vienna, as well as in the alpine cities of Innsbruck and Salzburg.
The company has been bought by the German car rental company Buchbinder, though still operates as a separate brand.
In Hungary, the company is highly rated by our customers. Its Budapest Airport location won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award both in 2023 and 2024.
Both in Austria and Hungary, Megadrive allows customers to take their vehicles to some neighboring countries including Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia so they can take a longer trip through Central Europe.
