Pros: I was given a slightly bigger car than the one requested, plus it was diesel so good mpg.

Cons: The check in ladies did not inspect the car when I returned as there were a number of marks on the car that was not listed when I collected it!

Pros: Eas of doing business

Cons: the drop off was problematic because after 4pm they just went home and the only drop off is the key. I wanted to address the discrepancy in quoted price vs. real price but was not able to. I tried to call the phone number hat was posted but unfortunately it was not working went straight to voicemail.

Cons: 1. Megadrive tried to charge an airport fee, even though that was already included in the booking 2. Megadrive charged €2.300 deposit, where €1.000 was waht the Discovercars voucher stated 3. In case of any damage Megadrive would charge me personally €22.000 and I would have to get that back from Discovercars 4. The process at the counter took extremely long Fortunately nothing happened, so no real harm done, but this is unacceptable. 4. The process of filing a complaint is impossible

Was told we would get €20 in refund for gas. We car switched to automatic damage report was not replaced. Told and showed agent damage before leaving.

Cons: They put a large amount of money on hold (over 1000 Euros) on the credit card. It does not get charged unless there's an issue but still its a large amount to hold.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy


Security Deposit will be doubled for using the following services: crossing country borders.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid an additional charge per liter/gallon of missing fuel plus a 15 EUR refueling service charge.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 01.11 to 15.04. Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 29 days.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
