Pros: Very easy transaction picking the car up from Europcar - no hard sell for additional insurance

Cons: All good. Our car had a significant dent in the boot when we pick it up (didn't affect opening / closing, so it didn't bother us in the slightest) - we did wonder if it made the rental the price it was (we thought very competitive / cheap)

Pros: Picking the car up was ok

Cons: A car with scratches and damage. At pickup i made a lot of photos of the car but i was not laying down at the floor to make pictures. Now they are charging me for a scratch, almost unvisisible on the car! Typical Toulouse carrental behaviour!

Pros: As stated, pick up and drop off were good.

Cons: The car provided, an automatic MG, was not suitable car for car hire. The gear change was dreadful, dropping to what seemed like first gear at the slightest climb and the engine noise was an embarrassment. I have been driving an automatic myself for some years and have often hired automatic cars in France with no problem but this one was unacceptable!

Pros: The eurocar desk staff inside the airport were extremely kind to stay after hours so I could collect even after my flight was delayed.

Cons: petrol stations at the airport. On return the tank level was confirmed at 3/5, yet EUR99 were charged for fuel ( overcharged!) as well as an amount of EUR75.60 for an "environment contribution", which was not disclosed to me at rental stage. PLEASE REFUND

Cons: I wasn't mad about the car (MG ZS), stupid heavy chassis resulting in poor performance & acceleration despite a 1.5 litre egine. No ventilation for backseats. Black vinyl seats weren't a good choice for hot weather either.

Cons: Difficult to find the pick up point as the office in the terminal was closed and the directions on the window were not very obvious. Staff should have pointed out that the nearest petrol station to the airport ( the one we usually use) was closed. This is an easy piece of simple advice that would have been of great assistance. Bit lazy I think.

Pros: Good, clean car. Overall smooth process. Returns process easy - Examination for damage fair and reasonable.

Cons: More emphasis on attempted upselling than advice/explanation of damage checking, contract or vehicle - which was virtually absent. No advice as to returns process There is no 'Keddy' desk at Toulouse airport. You have to go to the Europcar desk. Not mentioned anywhere in previous correspondence.

Cons: Keddy didn't say the car was at the europcar offices in Toulouse airport and there was no Keddy sign there. I had to ask a car hire place and they rang europcar to see if they represented Keddy. A sign would have been helpful. Also finding P2 as the drop off point on return was not mentioned on paperwork. A map for drop off would have been helpful at Toulouse Airport.

Many highways in France are tolled using only electronic means.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Compact, Standard, Luxury, Intermediate, Fullsize, Compact Elite a driver license valid for at least 3 years is required.
For vehicles in groups Premium a driver license valid for at least 5 years is required.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), that is valid for at least 3 months before the pick up date.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Diesel vehicles are available only by request upon arrival.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 80 % battery charge remaining.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 01.11 to 31.03 in the following regions: Ain, Allier, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes, Ardeche, Ariege, Aude, Aveyron, Cantal, Doubs, Drome, Haute-Garonne, Isere, Jura, Loire, Haute-Loire, Lozere, Moselle, Puy-de-Dome, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Orientales, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Rhone, Haute-Saone, Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Tarn, Var, Vaucluse, Vosges, Territoire de Belfort.
During the winter season, snow chains are mandatory on roads in mountainous areas that are marked by a road sign.

Service outside of business hours is available by previous request at airport locations.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges. The supplier will hold the vehicle for 0 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
