Keddy at Brussels Airport

Pros: They stayed open late for me due to delayed flight (but I did have to pay an extra €40 for this)

Cons: Car was not clean inside - the rental agreement from the previous renter was still present in addition to parking ticket stubs. There were also food crumbs and remains on the floor of the rear passengers and in the cup holder in the boot area.

Pros: Excellent service from the desk team, good explanation of directions to garage to collect car.

Cons: Poor signage in garage for dropping car off so struggled to find the drop off location within the garage. The cars were backed right up to the drop off so had to wait before I could get into the drop off location

Pros: Fair price for the car and for the insurance. Good car. Possibility to go to many Europe countries.

Cons: Not easy to find. Wasn’t mentioned that the car is given by Europcar. And it was more than an hour waiting.

Cons: totally rude staff at counter (EuropCar) that was totally dismissive and disrespectful to customer questions and concerns - WORST EVER !!!

Cons: The agent was initially dismissive and unhelpful when he decided our credit card could not be used.

Cons: Virtual credit cards and Amex, and debit cards are not accepted. Also could not adjust the pickup timing in case my flight was delayed.

Cons: Check in was a nightmare when attendant was looking at every little scratch as damage. Car had no damage other than scratches already on the paint. There was no damage and the car was returned as it was when originally rented out.

Pros: It is done by europcar. The girl at the desk was very friendly, gave me an upgrading, as I took the omnium insurrance.

Cons: I received a Mercedes, didn’t know how to use the automatic switch, there was nobody of europcar in the garage at 21h. The screen was in russian!

Cons: Your price is not transparent. I was not told on the one way border fee and you held me at hostage with no choice. Very bad. Most expensive rental I ever paid.

Cons: Due to a communication error the car had not been cleaned. The previous renters had smoked in the car. Ashes were lingering around in the car which led to a very unpleasant use of the car. We cleaned the car ourselves in the hope the smell would disappear but that didn't do the trick. We drove around in an ashtray for ten days. As non-smokers, horror....

Cons: We booked an electric. We arrived a bit after pick up time. Car was not charged. "It would be a while", they said. Instead of offering us a better/alternative electric, they offered a polluting diesel. Really, really bad. Management needs to take responsibility and train the employees: if a customer books an electric car, make sure you deliver one. In particular as there was loads of electric cars sitting in the bays when we picked up the diesel.

Cons: The car had a issue with an alert about low pressure in back tyres I was told to dismiss but it made me anxious there may be a problem during the whole rental period.

Pros: Quick, well helped to get the car and deliver back was even more easy eg just leave the car behind and that's it

Cons: I hired for the 1st time a full electric car and had challenges to charge it eg so my question is: can you deliver a tag/key with the renting so you can charge your car wherever you are? Now I could only charge the car at FASTNED so had to drive additional mileages to charge and sometimes even unsuccesfull as it did not work properly (not clear instructions given how charging works). It cost me at the end 120km more and 1,5 hour in addition...

Cons: Despite having emailed Customer Services reporting a damaged rim that was not signaled in the rental contract, at drop-off the agent pinpointed that fault and tried charging me for the incident. Luckily for me, I had the email proof that this damage was reported at pick-up. I was not convinced that this was a miss communication between teams, because it sounded more like a scheme to get more money from the Customer, and Europcar trying to compensate for the lower price of rental.

Cons: There was a strike in charleloi airport so there was no way to deliver the car there..so I delivered back to brussels airport (pick up point). They refused to give me some extra hours with the car and I was forced to be there at 16.00 (the initial flight at charleloi was departing at 17.30) and my flight was departing at 20.00

Cons: Keddy by Europcar did not want to rent me the vehicle. They argued that Mexican driving licenses were not accepted because Mexico and Belgium do not have an agreement. I had previously rented from Brussels airport with Hertz using my Mexican license.

Cons: At Belgium Airport, there are no clear instructions on where to park / return the rental car. Spent a lot of time to figure it out. While taking the car, it would be helpful for Keddy/Europcar to just confirm the parking bay where the car needs to be returned at Belgium (Zaventem) Airport

Cons: I had to cancel my reservation, because I did not have a physical driver licence with me. Sadly noticed it on a bad situation! The client attendant was strickt, did not close the deal, even if I shoved picture and online sertificate of my drivers licence. Suggested to take a train with my broken knee! Great! I was polite with attendant, did not used any unpolite words etc. but asked why it is like this, if all the date needed is avaiilable and afterwards receiver a meeting with police.

Pros: The car was in good condition and good value.

Cons: Picking up and dropping off rental car was a nightmare. Email communication was incorrect. It was not clear in the email that we were renting from EuropCar and had to ask upon arrival. Could not pay with the credit card that we wanted to use. Car did not start once, not sure why, waited a few minutes and then it did start.

Pros: Also finding location of booth and then the lines were so slow there is no way I was getting there with in 30 min of my reservation. I guess the only way to get a car with them is reserve for a later time slot.

I needed the car for 20 days so I had budget it now I'm landing finding I'm going pay more a day fir car other wise I would not have a car

Cons: I had asked for a small car, I was given an SUV which was difficult to park.

Pros: The Keedy clerk promptly aknowledge the damage not originally reported and wrote it down both on the contract and on the system. When the car was being filled to be dropped, a Keedy employee present at the Gas station kindly volunteered to escort us to the dropping point and afterwards they've been very quick to close the inspection of the car.

Cons: The car had a small damage not reported originally in the received contract (but see left on what I've liked).
