Pros: FYI that petrol deposit of R3500 had to be paid immediately and would be refunded10 days after the return of the car. Those little cars only take about 50 litres at R20 a litre which is no more than R1000!! what a rip off. Basically you are keeping that money and rolling it over. I always make sure I fill the cars at the airport fuel station and provide a receipt.

Cons: I was fuming when I picked up this car. I was going to be charged a huge extra amount for a petrol deposit of R3500 and excess of R10000!!! I absolutely refused. It was 8pm at night after a long flight. Absolutely horrific service. I went to woodford cars and was charged no petrol deposit and the excess was R4000. I complained and of course had no real answers. I feel that you should refund my deposit. It was a con from start to finish!!!

Pros: Car was waiting for us when we arrived. No waiting when we arrived at the desk office, there was a assistance waiting for us behind the desk. No hours of papers to fill in on arrival. We pay what we agreed on the online website, no confusion in regard to that.

Cons: We took full insurance on the online website when we booked the car. When we did go picked up the car the lady behind the counter offer another full insurance cover on the car we rented for additional costs. That make things a bit confusing. We just politly decline the offer as we did already booked the car on the website with the option off full insurance.

Pros: Ease in getting the car hire mobilised and on our way.

Cons: Although I had refuelled the vehicle to a full tank, a few miles from the car rental returns office, I was still charged 60 rands in total for allegedly not refuelling it in full! That's including a 25 rands admin charge for what? Nothing in my view as even the fuel gauge on the car was showing as Full!

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, First additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 605.00), Theft Protection, Contract fee, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, State Tax.
Rate excludes
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
Mileage policy
For international renters renting more than 3 days, mileage is unlimited.
A local renter is defined as a renter who is a resident of South Africa.
For local renters, unlimited mileage is not offered.

Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional km.
Details are available at the car rental company's reservation office.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.

Cash, Debit cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
crossing country borders is available on previous request at least 2 days before the pick up date.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following territories: Lesotho, Namibia, Eswatini.
crossing country borders is forbidden for certain car groups. Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
Underage additional drivers are also subject to a young driver fee.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
