Pros: What car rental place associated to the airport closes at 8pm? Especially if you have customer flight info, be proactive in communication. I felt completely unsupported while having to deal with major flight delays.

Pros: Waited at counter almost an hour for the staff the fill up all my details and ending up refuse to hire the vehicle to me due to the failure payment of main drivers credit card. Did not accept additional drivers card, did not accept to change driver names, did not try anything to work this out. Ending up cost me twice rental charge to hire a different one from another rental company. No insurance can offer

Pros: The worse experience todate. Europcar has franchise it to a local agent. The car wasn’t available and going to downgrade to another smaller car, which wasn’t suitable. Request to come back the next day to swap the downgraded car to what we order, and were told this was not possible and told our booking would be cancel. We are still waiting for our deposit to be refunded.

Pros: Gave me some gas to offset fact they did not have the car I reserved.

Cons: Didn’t have car I reserved, very slow process, shuttle did not arrive at airport after an hour (promised in 15 min) - had to take the train to their location. Others there at the time had the same issues.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1245.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications.
Mileage policy
Unlimited mileage only applies for travel in the province of pick-up. Prior permission is needed for travel outside of it, and mileage limitations apply.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 70 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English, French.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy


Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Vehicles can be driven outside of the State, province of pick-up with written permission of the rental company. If the vehicle is driven outside of the State, province without permission, a 29.99 per day fee will apply.
Mileage will be limited to 1400 km per week or 2500 km per rental, and excess mileage will be charged 0.20 CAD per km.
If crossing the border from: Canada, travel is only permitted to: the State of Washington. Driving vehicles to Mexico is not allowed.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
