Cons: They lied about so-called "damage" and made false claims about the cost to "repair", which they won't even do since there is nothing to repair or replace.

Cons: Car unavailable when my family and I arrived on a delayed flight from Melbourne, so rented from another company. Surely East Coast Car Rental can accommodate late arrivals? Other companies at Launceston Airport were there for customers.

Pros: Very friendly staff both at pick up and drop off. Explained everything about the car. The car we were given was really nice and in very good condition. Very happy with East Coast. Thank you 😊

Again, NOT THEIR FAULT ! They were patient beyond what I would have been. Hyundai venue was so fuel efficient and would Def recommend this car - boot space small though but enough to fit 1 LG and 1 SM suitcase. Kids loved the sunroof. Cons: Had to wait 1 hr to be picked up as office opened at 8am and flight landed at 7am. Technical difficulty in office once there which took approx 1hr to finalise payment and pick up car.

Cons: I purchased insurance via discover cars only then to get pressured into buying some at the rental yard, so effectively paid twice for insurance. It wasn't good the way it was very high pressure ... on the spot, when you've just flown in with kids etc. Discover cars abound maybe not sell the insurance so it's isnt a duplicate.

Pros: Staff was nice, all went by the plan. Car was a bit older (>100k km) which I prefer.

Cons: Efficiency - it took 10-15 minutes to do the paperwork.

Pros: The representative was really efficient. I had my car in less than 10 minutes. Everything was clear and the car was great.

Cons: It would be nice to have a desk at the airport or at least some informations about how to find the company as I had to ask another company to know I had to call them. It wasn't obvious.

Cons: staff at pick up did not explain things properly, and had a negative style of communication. we paid for extra insurance so that we could have peace of mind, but the staff member made us feel worried that there was going to be a high risk of additional expenses and difficulties

Cons: Beware of the upsell, we got charged extra to be upgraded to a Corolla even though we specifically said we didn’t want one... then he said it was complimentary and we were left wondering why our charge was more expensive than quoted. We have also had very little information regarding our security deposit being released, as we’ve had to call up twice. Pretty shady company in our experience.
