Caroutis is a car rental company based in the southeastern European nation of Romania. Equally known for the majestic Carpathian mountains and the Black Sea coastline, Romania is quickly becoming one of the region’s most popular travel destinations. Caroutis serves the capital, Bucharest, as well as the large and beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca in the country’s Transylvania region. It also has offices in Sibiu, Timisoara, and Targu Mures, all popular tourist destinations. At Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport, it’s located outside the airport and provides a free shuttle service for customers both to and from the airport.
The company allows its vehicles to be taken to some of its neighboring countries — Hungary, Serbia, and Bulgaria. It doesn't allow for travel to Ukraine or Moldova.
