Pros: Nothing. Did not explain well at pick up about fuel full to empty policy. Car had superficial damage which was not pointed out, however they did say there was no need to video car or take pictures, but these were taken anyway for security.

Cons: Very rude when dropping car off and made me go and fill car with fuel even though policy purchased said full to empty, this was why €177 euro was paid for the hire and could have hired a fiat panda for €120-130 with a full to full policy. So overall costs were near the €230. Will be looking for a refund

Pros: Very straightforward process. For once, I didn't feel like I'm getting scammed :)

Cons: I would have loved to get the the toyota yarris which I paied for on the website. I got a Skoda Fabia instead. In my mind they are not on the same level. But that is fine. The services compensated for that difference in my mind

Pros: Very friendly people, everything we agreed upon was spot on. The car was not what we booked in the first place but instead we got a more spacious one for the same rate. Moreover: they picked us up from.the airport and drove us back on our departure date. Seriously, if you have any doubts about Autocandia, have absolutely no fear. We sorted out all issues with the broker website with a simple call to Autocandia. Highly recommend and special thanks to Mr. Andreas

Cons: The car had low levels of windshield fluid and the existant fluid was not good enough. Also there was some preliminary front axis problem, especially at low speeds the front left wheel held anoying grinding levels. However: the partner aknowledged the issues and had already scheduled maintenance as soons as we dropped the car off.

Pros: Not a lot. No point of contact. I literally parked the car up in a garage car park where lots of people are and left the keys in it. No one was there to speak to or to hand keys to. In fact anyone could have stolen the car and I would be left to foot the bill

Cons: Plane arrived early (yes early) and obviously the rep was not tracking the flight so was not at the airport when we arrived. Had to get another company rep to ring. All went well after that!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 700.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.


In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Cross-border policy
Crossing the country border or using a ferry (traveling to an island) is forbidden.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Roof rack, Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the tank as empty as possible. The client must pay for the full tank upon pick up.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece, Greece - Crete Island.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 21 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 1440 minutes.
