Pros: The staff at the desk were very polite and efficient both at pick up and drop off.

Cons: I was unable to contact them by telephone to confirm pick-up time in the event of flight delay, and they didn't seem to be able to contact me either (telephone line engaged tone even though it wasn't!). So was unsure of the rental situation if my flight was delayed until I actually got to the desk.

Pros: The car was almost new and exactly what I’d ordered (small-medium SUV).

Cons: The agent handing over the car (from Enterprise, rather than Alamo) initially tried to charge me over €700 more than on my voucher! I had to point out the actual amount agreed on my voucher and after some discussion with 2 other colleagues, they honoured the original price! NOT what you want as you start your holiday!!

Pros: Nice and easy pick up & drop off at Nice Airport

Cons: Car exterior was a bit dirty, but otherwise all wise. Price wise, thought it was a little on the expensive side for essentially less than a 3 day hire at €388. Picked up at 8pm on Friday evening and returned Monday morning at 11am.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage (except for local residents), Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1500.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax).
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
The minimum rental age for vehicles in car groups Compact, Standard, Intermediate, Minivan, Compact Special, SUVs is 24.
The minimum rental age for vehicles in car groups Luxury, Premium, Fullsize, Special is 30.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 12 month(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, return flight ticket, flight information, 2 phone numbers (1 of which is landline), boarding pass.
Insurance
The following insurance type(s) Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is (are) not included for residents of Canada, USA.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) can be declined, if the renter can provide his/her own insurance.
In case the customer does not have one of the insurances, mentioned above, the customer will need to purchase insurance at the counter.
More details about self-insurance requirements are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be charged on the renter's credit card through the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.

It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card, MasterCard debit card, American Express Debit card.

Visa Electron, Diners, Discover, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain-Mainland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, San Marino. Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Diesel vehicles are available only by request upon arrival.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
