Pros: The staff were lovely, however your communication was not when someone pays $1500 plus to rent a car and then you send them an email to say it’s paid in full plus extra insurance it seems ridiculous to have a holding deposit worth more than the booking and to have it written into the fine print was not fair!
Cons: We not only had to pay more on the day we were then given an empty car to take no petrol!

Cons: They didn't have the car specified on my booking nor "or similar". I got a good upgrade but it was somewhat larger than the car I booked. I loved the car but when I arrived at my abnb which included a parking space, the car was to big and I had to pay for parking while I was there, which wouldn't have happened if I had been supplied with the car I actually booked.
Cons: They were awful all the way around, terrible company. Charged extra, waited forever, lied to constantly. Absolutely would never recommend anyone to go there.
Pros: Efficient and friendly
Cons: Coming internationally we struggled to get in touch with the service to pick us up which was stressful. We only managed to get there because we sat at the bus stop for 30mins and he happened to rock-up. Also, the car we had organised to hire (which was a new model) didnt have satnav so we little choice but to spend more money to upgrade.
Pros: Not a good experience. We dropped the car and we told we had to wait over 1/2 hour for the next shuttle. So we had to pay for an uber
Cons: The pickup took too long. They over charged us. The car was gutless. The drop off couldn’t supply a suitable shuttle service.
Pros: Felt like a bait and switch. I didn't read fine print and they tried to rent me an electric car. The original amount was 250 and they gave there only other regular car for 600.
Cons: They were not helpful in getting me emergency help with my tire. The main thing they said was tires were not covered under my premium insurance coverage that I bought.
Pros: Staff harassed by system but remained friendly and patient . Good follow up when something went wrong . Car was good
Cons: The system needs overhauling The need to double do everything you have already imputed online is ridiculous for both client and staff . There must be some way we can sign those details direct to Green motion Adding extra insurance should be explained up front . Everyone angry . Not good start

Pros: Sunny who works at Gatwick was very friendly and helpful from picking up the car and really trying to help me when I lost my keys
Cons: The other people who work at the Gatwick office ( Sunny was great) we’re not very helpful
Pros: Ended up not being ACE rent a car and was green motion instead. Shuttle arrived on time and driver was very pleasant
Cons: Milage was not unlimited even though that was an up charge that I paid for. Child seat was not actually confirmed even though the Discover Cars booking said it was. Took close to 45 mins to get the car after reaching front of line at the office
Cons: The cost of our hire was effectively doubled due to charges for a minor bumper bar mark which may have been there when we hired. The staff first tried to claim the mark was much longer than it was and tried to charge an 'admin fee' on top (which was not referred to in the contract) (and therefore would have charged us even more). We spent more than an hour at drop off sorting this out. This was the only car hire firm we had a problem with after 6 different rentals over a holiday of 3 months

Cons: Car had some slight damage and smelled as if it had been smoked in. Overall, it was a nice car but getting to the rental facility was difficult and it was very crowded and checkout was backed up so It took quite long causing us to miss a scheduled event

Cons: The transparency of the cost versus what they cover (rental, insurance etc.). I've paid a much higher amount when picking up the vehicle then first informed, when booking. Might be because I've requested a full insurance, but I am not sure if I was not overcharged.

Cons: Awful company. The pressure tactics to sell “insurance” was out of control. Eg “if the tyres degrade by more than 1mm, you will be billed £1400.” The threat of having to pay £1400 excess for the slightest scratch ruined our enjoyment (and usage) of the car. We spent the entire time petrified that we were going to lose a lot of money. Never again.
Cons: Despite the booking I had made with Ace - it took Green Motion an hour and cost me an extra £200 before I got a car. Didn't seem to matter what I had booked in advance. Won't be using either company again.

Cons: Everything. Attitude problems, lying to customers, 2 hour wait to collect a car (at 10pm with 2 kids and no apology). Absolutely shocking.
Cons: 1. pick-up shuttle issues at Gatwick - incorrect bus stop mentioned in booking...nobody to call. 2. bad customer service when picking the vehicle - waiting period in queue over 45 mins.I had booked for automatic and manual was offered. 3. seems rip-off to charge for insurance and other services 4. vehicle location for return is gravel and dirt 5. bad customer ethics to show damage, when nothing happened 6. support call centre impolite, only email and don't provide any details on phone
Pros: I did not like anything about Ace Car Hire represented by Green Motion car hire
Cons: The representative from Green Motion acting in association with Ace car hire refused to honour the booking DC-382775 which I had made via DiscoveryCar Hire.com. He advised me that the booking was invalid because the insurance/CDW was invalid for UK because the booking had been made via an agency from USA. Despite my demands that the booking be honoured, he refused and I was required to enter into another rental agreement RGW111458 offered by Green Motion with Ace Car Rental POA EXC as agent.

Pros: Didn't. Brand new car, so I was on tenderhooks the week that I had it. Stiff gears so was difficult to determine 1st & 3rd. Needed a car for longer so went with Sixt. Love it even though more expensive.

Cons: They charged us £179.00 for a tiny blue mark on the rim that we do not recall making, it was coloration only and not even a scratch. During the Initial inspection they kept telling us that little scratches didn’t matter, but during the final inspection every little scratch mattered. Also the service was very slow. They are greasy agents that run the whole operation from a trailer.

Cons: They were extremely fussy on damage to the car. When hiring a car I would recommend looking the car over extremely thoroughly. They nearly tried to charge me for a speck on the inside of the door. It would probably be worth getting full insurance if hiring from this company.

Cons: Did not take the car as the price was not the same as agreed on booking. I was told I had to take their insurance, but I already had my own, but they still insisted that I had to have it, so I refused to take the car.

Pros: I would have said the price, but the service was so shocking that I would not do it again even at a low price. You get what you pay for.
Cons: the car rental company (green motion gatwick) was acting either in bad faith or with criminal intent. They tried to mis-sell products by threats and lies. The waiting time for the car was absolutely unaccaptable (more than 2 hours) .

Cons: The fact that the scam of tricking me our of a hell of a lot of money was appalling, never again will I hire a car with this company. All thieving con artists. They knew exactly where to look ignored checking other parts of car, thus then I knew I was being scammed. Utter disgrace to all car rental businesses.
Cons: a waste of my time, they wanted £1000 deposit for young drivers surcharge, when it didn't say on the checkout form that this was going to be applied, guy was rude and I was visiting a very sick father of mine, which the car was going to be used to travel to and from hospital and they refused to give me my deposit back! my week was ruined thanks to this car company! won't be using them again
Cons: Overall attitude in Greenmotion when it was Ace car rental booking. And also Greenmotion is not making any good for other way round. First they didn't have the car, they try to cheat to pay more, finally got a car that was not ready.
