    Pittsburgh International Airport is the second-busiest airport in Pennsylvania. It serves both the Pittsburgh metro area and the rest of western Pennsylvania.

    Terminals

    There is only one terminal at Pittsburgh International. That terminal has four different concourses laid out in an x-shape and connected to the main arrivals and departures building by a walkway.

    Location

    Pittsburgh International Airport is located 20 miles west of Downtown Pittsburgh. The drive takes about 25 minutes down I-376 without traffic. Akron is about 100 miles away across the border in Ohio.

    All rental companies at Pittsburgh Airport are located in the Baggage Claim area. After signing the rental agreement, it's just a short walk to the parking garage to get your car. You'll also need to return the car to the same garage.

Three exits before the airport, there are multiple gas stations with prices that are around 10 cents lower. For those with Costco or Sam's Club memberships, you can fill up at their gas stations two exits and one exit before the airport, respectively.
