    We spent three lovely weeks at our timeshares, two in Kruger Park Lodge and one in Burchells Bush. We played golf, visited Kruger Park a few times and enjoyed lots of nice food and spent time relaxing.

    We drove from Johannesburg to Malelane and Kruger National Park where we had a fantastic time and it was very convenient to be able to drop off the rental vehicle at Hoedspruit airport on our return. A small SUV proved to be an excellent vehicle for travelling in Kruger.

    Beautiful country and well worth hiring a car to explore. Driving and road conditions were pretty good, no major problems. Police at the airport are problematic - they wait at the junction into the car hire drop-off lane and stop drivers, seemingly to fish for bribes from people who are tight for time with planes to catch.
