SUV Rental at Darwin Airport

Daley Waters pub amazing outback experience to stay over at. Fabulous food entertaintment and totally different. You have to visit to believe it! Katherine Gorge is wonderful. We had a helicopter flight over all 13 gorges certainly worth seeing it from a birds eye view. Mataranka Springs just stunnng and water so warm. Bitter Springs lovely too. Yellow Water River sunset cruise, Kakadu is certainly worth doing. Seeing all the nature, wildlife and crocs early in the morning and peacefulness on the river as ths sun comes up is wonderful. Amazing sunrise to see too. Litchfield National Park Wangi Falls is a must. Only had time to stop of here as place is huge. Certainly give yourself a full day here if you want to experience the other swimming places. Termite mounds also a great visit there. Jumping croc tour Darwin is brilliant. The crocs get so close the boat and you capture some amazing pics. Darwin Military Truck tour and stop off at military museum is a must. David our driver was a walking encyclopedia! The truck goes all around Darwin and David is a wealth of infornation about war history and other stuff. Museum a good visit too even if you do not do the truck tour. Alfonzo's Italian Darwin city is a great place to eat. Shenanigans pub also a good lively place for food and drink. Fidlers Irish pub on the Wharf serve good food, enjoyed a hearty brekkie there. Char restaurant Darwin serve an excellent steak. Went here for hubbys birthday. A little on the pricey side but steak is good. Book early though as they do get busy and sometimes run out of steak the later it gets.

Darwin is very multicultural and had a wonderful stay ( so many choices for foodand things to do), Kakadu is one of the world's greatest wonders. Loved my visit to Jabiru and Katherine also Mataranka and Lichfield National Park. Loved my visit to NT

We hired the car for 2 days. We had a passenger with a disability sticker and found close parks wherever we went. So👍to parking in NT. We drove to Litchfield, a must. Beautiful falls and walks (short ones too) Day 2 was around Darwin - Military Museum, Mindil Beach Markets and leaving on a night flight so we were able to have our bags with us all day and then go to airport in time to leave, dropping car according to prearrangement.
