Pros: Vehicle had a loud wind noise coming from a rear door, even though they appeared to be closed tight. Did not appreciate a Florida plate in Texas.

Cons: At pick up, the agent was confusing trying to sell insurance upgrades but wasn’t clear about what was included. Car wasn’t great. Would likely pick a different company next time.

Cons: Was not offered a toll pass option at all. I was told to grab my car and to stay off toll roads, an I asked if I I needed a toll pass or if I can get around Houston without tolls easily she said it was, then I found out it was NOT, that Houston has like 6 toll highways and I couldn’t add this toll pass on the phone after rental

Cons: They sent me the link 3 days till the day of pick up to check in and skip counter. I completed all the process and wait for choose the car step. Wait even pass the time of pick up. It didn’t say anything in the message. Till I asked one of staff who works at Thrifty, they told me have to get line to see check in people. It was completely wasted of my time. I had been waiting for the whole time for the car, now they told me that I need to get in line which I didn’t aware since beginning

Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), State Tax, Surcharges.
Rate excludes
Many highways in USA are tolled using only electronic means.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
The option to prepay tolls is available for 9.99 USD to 27.99 USD per day depending on the travel area.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
