Pros: The contract was collecte with a full tank of fuel and return with a full tank. I had just pick the car up and was on the motorway when I noticed the fuel tank was empty. The representative apparently upgraded us to a more comfortable car. It turned out to be filthy dirty with what looked like coffee stains on the roof. The drivers door was damaged as was the back passenger door. The car was filthy. The breaks made a horrendous noise when in use. I returned to the following week and spoke with

Cons: The manager explaining what was wrong. She told me that she could not replace it. If I wanted it to be replaced I would have to drive 259km to do so. I had no choice but to drive the terrible car. She also told me that they would refund me the cost of the fuel. Which they never did. I have rented cars all over the world for the last 25 years and have never experienced such terrible service before. Between the filthy car and the incompetent, disinterested staff it was an absolute disaster.

Pros: It seemed good value online!

Cons: Only to find out the extra I paid for full premium coverage and additional driver wasn’t recognised by Europcar and then on ygff we first day of my holiday, having to pay additional costs to do so whilst being put in an awkward situation. Not happy!

Pros: Staff at the office were both efficient and extremely friendly.

Cons: Took a little too long to collect the vehicle.

Cons: Disappointed that a miniscule scratch caused so much of an issue. It was so small that it couldn't be seen when photographed on her phone. It was also above the door handle so could not have been a result of negligence by myself, the driver. Also they staff showed no interest in arranging repeat business and just told me to go online. I will be a regular client as fly to Carcassonne again in 6 weeks. There was business to be gained but they didn't seem interested. Regards, Noel

Cons: Usual car-rental issues. Took charges from my account that couldn’t be explained but eventually refunded. Charged me about £20 more than promised when booking through Discover cars. Possibly an exchange rate issue so best to pay for it all upfront to avoid extra costs.

Pros: The lady that issued the car was extremely helpful and very professional. She was also the agent I returned the car too and we were very impressed by her customer service.

Pros: Location of desk good, picking up the car good, polite and efficient, but will NEVER use them again.

Cons: The microscopic examination of the car on return resulting in the finding of a mark ( not a scratch ) on the car and withholding of my deposit. This mark so minor that it was not visible to me on collection. Being a veteran car-hirer I am aware of the issues regarding scratches and both my wife and I examined the car on collection in the cloudy weather. The sun was shining when returning the car. As I said directly to Europcar I have experienced much more relaxed attitudes at other locations.

Cons: My prepaid mastercard was not acceptable, so had to use my credit card. Would have preferred to pay the full rental online, but was not given that option.
