GreenMotion at Helsinki Airport

Cons: While the first provided car was a brandnew super clean SUV, it was a higher class than originally booked, would use more gas and it would be more difficult to find parking spots. So I had to go back to the office (with all luggage ...) to actually get the car, that I actually booked and paid for. One issue there: Front window glass was not well cleaned, driving against the sun was difficult (on the first day). And one window (back seats) was half open, when I picked up the car.

Pros: They say that they keep the ordered car just up to half an hour or so, and the recommend to set the pickup time far enough from the planned flight arrival time. I set it to 1.5 hour after the planned arrival time. The flight was on time and we arrived half an hour after the arrival. I was sure that I will get the car right away, but we had to wait for an hour until the exact time I wrote.

Pros: Renting process was smooth and the staff was quite helpful

Cons: The car had quite a few damages, though small. After the return Green Motion tried to put the blame for some of them on me

Pros: Quick responses from agents.

Cons: Car ran out of oil, didn’t have a warning triangle nor a high visibility vest of emmergencies. We would have needed those and feel our safety was risked.

Pros: Helpful agent.

Pros: Green Motion is my favourite car rental at Helsinki airport. The service is excellent and the staff is always very helpful and professional.

Cons: They rented an unsafe car. Our front tire was dangerously worn and probably out other alignment .

Cons: Car was beat up, tire pressure monitor on at pickup, couldn't make it turn off. Picked vehicle based on holding 5 people, we didn't fit. Had to get a relative to drive us around in addition to our car.

Pros: Ease of picking up the vehicle

Cons: The car had a tire pressure warning light on when we picked it up. We went to a service place to have all tire pressures checked, to make sure none were leaking. But the company should have such an issue already checked out and fixed. Also a earning text a out the back seats appeared regularly. We tried to make sure the nack seats were fully in the correct position. But the warning text remained.

Pros: Car gave a warning signal and technical support gave short instructions to check and it was safe to drive forward.

Cons: The directions for finding the Green Motion counter were vague and we had to ask the help desk in the airport for directions

Cons: We were kept waiting for nearly 2 hours after our scheduled pickup time. No apology was given and we kept just being told to wait 10 more minutes whenever we asked.

Cons: External cleanliness of car, existing damages not captured initially passed onto us but fortunately had pictures that were taken during the checkin process

Cons: The car was full of mud. Representatives were not interested to see damages already on the car. The gas tank was not full, and they provided an unacceptable reason (saying it was only due to cleaning of the car).

Cons: The tyre pressure warning light was on when we picked up the car. When I checked the tyre pressures the rear right side tyre was seriously under inflated. When I notified the rental agent I was accused of damaging the tyre. Problem was a slow leak and tyres not checked.

Pros: The representative sonya was great, gave excellent service

Cons: Returning the car was a challenge to find the entrance

Cons: I was charged twice for the rental with no explanation. Location was difficult to find and return

Cons: Issue with two sizeable card payment in short period resulted in my bank blocking the second payment - suspected fraud. Unable to contact my bank due to being after hours. There has to be a better solution - even pre payment!

Cons: Directions to desk out of date. Directions to find car were completely inadequate. No one to explain anything about the car, No Handbook or leaflet to explain controls such as touchscreen or radio. Friends who booked a similar manual car ended up with a automatic large almost estate car and expected to accept it.

Cons: Hard to find drop-off point, as it was on a different level from other car rentals. No agent there to help with drop off.

Pros: I liked the condition of the rented car, and the procedure of receiving it early in the morning.

Cons: I hate to be cheated. when I received the final invoice I found out that I was charged 53 euros for fuel that seemed to be put into the car tank, when the tank was completely full. I wrote to the agency and attached a picture of the dashboard and they replied that they had communication issues . Not serious.

Pros: The service in general is perfect, now adding the proximity of their offices to the Helsinki airport. Always kind and helpful, clear instructions, efficient.

Cons: Since the customer indicates a selected pick-up time, it would be nice to have the car ready in front of the office, rather than having to look for the car in a confusion of parking lots.

Cons: It was rialy difficalt to find the rented car on the parking. The plan of the airport with parking isn't clear.

Cons: Car was NOR cleaned inside, there was no one waiting for me when I returned the car so I had to call them and they instructed me to leave keys inside the car.

Pros: Excellent, speedy and polite service at a very late hour.

Cons: Location not ideal, but only a ten minute bus ride away. Waiting for the bus though adds an extra half hour to your journey.

Pros: Very straightforward process, helpful staff.

Cons: Location was a bit removed from the main airport area, but a shuttle was provided.
