Pros: Staff were friendly when we actually got to the place to pick up the car. Not very friendly at the office.

Cons: Worst pick up experience we’ve ever had. First you have to go to a small stuffy office and wait for AGES despite having a reso/pick up time (it was so crowded the rest of the group had to wait outside in the heat) Then it’s a 10 minute walk with all your luggage in the blistering heat and crowds of Florence to the train station to actually get the car! They provided a terrible map and we got lost. It was an awful experience. This should be disclosed ahead and a least a shuttle offered.

Pros: No service was provided when it was crucially needed. Tyre had leak before leaving Europa garage. I had to arrange repair of tyre myself after failure of Europcar service people to arrive, for an entire day. Result was loss of money, critical tours and enjoyment.

Pros: People and car were fine. The van was banged up but I can understand why they do not fix each time. Luckily I did not have any issues, but I can see how dings and scratches could occur with the narrow streets

Cons: Not the company’s fault but there was a fight in the garage during our drop off which left a bad impression of that part of the experience. Again…two random people fighting in the drop off area, but we left quickly.

Cons: Our car had a lot of dents and scratches on it, and a broken tail light cover. They were documented, but still it would be better to have a car that wasn't dented and scratched already.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: driver license with photo. A digital driver's license will not be accepted — you must bring your physical driving license.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 80 % battery charge remaining.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 29 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
