Bravacar
Bravacar is a car rental company serving Portugal, one of Europe’s most popular travel destinations. Unlike many other Portuguese rental car companies that specialize in just one city or region, Bravacar has a presence all across the country as it can be found in the capital, Lisbon, the large southern city of Faro in the Algarve, the northern city of Porto, and even on the tropical island of Madeira which is situated quite a way off the mainland in the Atlantic ocean.
In 2024, the company won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award in Funchal on the island of Madeira.
Bravacar, as it has offices in all of Portugal’s major cities, offers one-way rentals between any two of the three (Lisbon Airport, Porto Airport, or Faro Airport). Of course, you need to book this in advance and there’s an additional cost for it, but it gives you a great opportunity to see more of the country with the time you have.
