Pros: Easy to check out

Pros: Everything was fine, picking up the car was quick, and the information provided was accurate.

Pros: Agent at checkin was very helpful.

Cons: No one available when we arrive to return and no info as to what to do. Had to call to get someone to check us in. A little concerning when you have to catch a flight.

Cons: I generally liked it. At first I had to get used to the brakes. They were working fully almost at its lower level.

Pros: The service was really good.

Cons: The only downside was the way they charge their customers. Typically rental companies don’t charge your card and only put a hold on the security deposit. Avance charged my card and refunded the deposit when I returned the car. This meant I got charged by my credit card company two exchange fees and which cost me over $50.

Pros: Avance had a friendly person at the check in desk. Very easy to work with in the process.

Cons: The car was definitely a little beat up and seats were stained inside the car.

Pros: All good except that the system did not allow us to refunds deposit due faulty network or machines despite multiple tries. Hope it could be done soon.

Cons: Egen I Camp to Pick up the car, the guy at the desk got kinda rude, when I told him that I don’t wanted any insurance because I had already bought on through DiscoverCars and started babbling about that if there were any damage to the car “it would take, 1, 2, 5 months before I would get my money back”. Also be aware that they actually withdraw 992 euro from your card - not reserve the money which meant that we actually ended up paying 300kr ~ 40 euro in exchange!! So be aware of this!!

Cons: The deposit was said to be automatically canceled on the day the vehicle was returned, but it hasn't been canceled even after 5 days have passed.

Cons: I have rented cars over the world for work and leisure, this was the worst condition car I have ever rented.

Cons: Snake oil salesmen. Didn't find any of them trustworthy. The front desk guy spent 10 minutes questioning whether I could drive a stick, insisting that he would charge $2,000 if the clutch was harmed.

Cons: I returned with extra fuel than when I collected and they didn't reimburse me anything. Had it been the other way around, I'm sure avance would have charged me a premium. They should standardize by fueling the vehicle before giving to the customer

Cons: Car body examination at the pick-up was difficult due to low light in the evening. Next morning realize 1 more scratch on the door but no problems at the drop-off.

Pros: The desk to pick up the car was just outside the airport, the service provided was quick and fair, the car was clean and we had all the information we needed plus the agents were very kind and explained everything clearly.
