AUSOCAR RENT-A-CAR
With its name often stylized in all caps, Ausocar can be found in neither Australia nor Austria, but instead in the sunny Western European country of Portugal, one of the most popular travel destinations of the continent. In Portugal, Ausocar has offices in both the capital city of Lisbon (where it serves both the city’s international airport and downtown Lisbon) and in the glamorous coastal city of Estoril which is just nearby. It also has an office in Setúbal.
AUSOCAR was founded in 1991. It would later be acquired by the company aht would becom Sixt. Later, when Sixt was sold, it once again became and independent company. While it operated as part of the Sixt brands, it served Faro and Porto Airports as well. Now it is back to serving its home location and the surrounding region.
