Cons: Although I booked the car months ahead, the company called me a few hours ahead of arrival, while I was travelling, to tell me that that they will not be able to deliver the category I booked, only a lower one. No compensation. Then a few days into my rental they contacted me again to ask why I did not show up at the branch. Don’t want to know what’s going on internally, must be total chaos. Unorganised, unprofessional. Avoid.

Pros: The pick up of the car in terms of support from the agent at Alamo in Ljubljana airport was beyond compare. Absolutely spot on with everything and couldn’t have helped my or else made the process more efficient, smooth and enjoyable. A great start to our holiday and we felt that if we had any issues at all we could call.
Cons: Nothing regarding the service at all. The only issue is the Alamo office is not where the signage shows the rental car desks to be. We had to ask for assistance from a policemen after following directions from a rental car competitor. We eventually found the Alamo office in the old terminal.

Pros: Excellent customer service delivered with warmth
Cons: It wasn't easy to find the rental office. I followed the signs in the airport terminal and ended up exiting the terminal and crossing the road to the car hire offices there before returning to find the office after being told where it was by one of the other car hire firms
