Pros: Always a sterling service from Alamo, not picky about minor dents or damages, makes you feel more at ease during your rental period.

Cons: Prices are on the higher end, feels as if you are paying a premium not to be ripped-off by the low cost rental garages that are after your excess money.

Pros: Upon arrival in Treviso. It was easy to find the Alamo office at the airport. Both at the beginning and at the end, the employees were very kind and gladly answered my questions. The car was clean inside and outside.

Cons: Be careful and considerate because cars are rented in the winter season with summer tires and summer window fluid that was frozen. Unpleasant communication when picking up the car at the garage. The car was rented from 06.01.2024 - 13.01.2024. I went to the ski resort of Alta Badia.

Pros: Edward from the Treviso garage (Locauto garage) was very friendly and explained everything needed about the car both during collection and return of the car

Cons: All was ok apart from the fact that the lady at the help desk was not able to speak in English. We knew Italian but any people who cannot speak italian will have problems communicating

Pros: Good car

Cons: When I arrived at the airport I saw that Alamo is now part of Locauto with whom I have very bad experience as they already charged me damage to a car before that wasn't comitted by me. Normally I would have never hired a car at Locauto anymore. When I picked up the car there were 5 known damages at the car. When I started the car, the computer of the car mentioned low pressure of the left front tire. I reported this, when I took car back they said I damaged the tire.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Mileage policy
For rentals of 28 days or more, mileage is limited to 117 km per day.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill), photocard driving license.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.

Crossing country borders to Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, EU countries is free of charge.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age).

During winter season (from 15.11 until 15.04.) Snow chains are included in price.
All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
In order to have service out of hours, the renter must provide the following information: Flight number, train number.
A maximum of 59 minutes is available for service outside of business hours.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
