Cons: 1- When we arrive at the airport the representative was not in the rental desk. I waited for 45 min approx, almost an hour. Then he arrived and we waited again since he was busy with paper work, I think related to a crash or somenthing, but it was a lot of time. 2- The AC of the car was not working properly, the air was warm, it was frustrating driving with a bad AC with the high temperatures in Italy.

Pros: The first rep was friendly.

Cons: The rental car had no oil in the engine it and luckily I checked it or it would have blown up. I added $48 in oil and was not reimbursed by the rental agency. Not only that, I was chastised for not calling him first. I saved the engine and potentially an accident and somehow I was the problem The second agent was a world-class c*nt and obviously they don't maintain their vehicles. Very dangerous.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU.

Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).

Renters from the following country(ies): Italy must provide the following documents: proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
