Cons: The car we received was defective, with battery/alternator problems that ruined our trip and even put our lives at risk when it stopped twice on the highway with no brakes. Staff at Treviso were careless and unhelpful, offering only a replacement if we drove back there, which was impossible. Thankfully, Verona airport staff were polite and supportive, but overall this was an unacceptable and stressful experience. That was very ugly as I had specifically called them three days before and asked them about that. When we said we called about this, they said they had no idea. Pros: They were helpful at the desk in Treviso and also in Catania. They did all in their power to help us out.

Cons: The people at the desk first told us that we could not proceed unless we had a credit card (where debit card has never been previously an issue). The people were insisting there is nothing we could do ... and then out of the blue offered us something after 2 hours of messing with us charged us 900 euro extra to be able to pick up a car. We accepted just so we could move on but I was not impressed on how they could not help us for 2 or 3 hours then suddenly had a solution. Wasted our day.

Cons: The car was not vacuumed, the exterior was dusty, the roof of the cabin and the back seat were stained with water. We had to wait 20 minutes when we asked to change the car or clean it and hand it over to us in a suitable condition. We also had to insist that any damage to the bodywork be marked. The staff was unhappy.

Cons: Booked a Peugeot 208 or similar was provided with a smaller car and a car without air conditioning. To provide a car like this is 37 degree heat is extremely unprofessional and in my opinion disgraceful. I have booked cars through discover cars a few times now and through Sicily by car and they are extremely helpful and easy to deal with but this has really made me re think booking through this again.

Cons: Noticed a fault on the dash board " immersion fault in 550mls " asked the employee about it and they said don't worry is only that the car needs more ad blue, fault was with us constantly ringing every 30mins and finally when we drove on last day it stopped in the middle of a bust highway with fast traffic and we had to push the car in a dangerous area to a safe space and ring the breakdown company ... then we had to pay for a taxi to our next destination missing an important activity planned .

Cons: I booked a "mini-SUV" Opel Crossland X, but they offered me at the desk a VW Golf, which I refused. After extensive discussions, they offered a Seat Arona, which I accepted. They brought it to me completely dirty (interior and outside), with 5/8 gas tank, as returned by the previous customer. Plus a big dent from a previous accident, on the left, lower part, between the doors. I asked to have it cleaned, they took it and returned in less than 2 min, after they briefly used a pressure washer)

Pros: To clarify, the time spent picking up the car and dropping it off was very low, so that was excellent. I got an upgrade. Very good. Staff very nice, helpful and efficient. Car nice. Easy to find everything. The car drop-off point was pre-loaded on the sat nav. Very good and clever. Low deposit, relative to others, very good.

Cons: It took more than 1.5 hours to get a car... It takes them about 12-15 minutes to prepare docs for one car, only one rep was wokring in the desk. Simple math: 5 people in fornt of you and you;re doomed to wait for an hour... Obviously they know the load in advance and could plan, get more staff in etc 0 but they don't care. All the other car rental boots were empty at that time... I will never use sicily by car again. Also the car was rather dirty, AdBlue was on low , screen washer was empty...

Cons: wifi hired did nog work outside Italy and the representatives did not know that / the car was dirty inside (garbage) and bruised. nevertheless we almost got a fine for some minor scratches on the windows that were already present at first, so it seemed unfair.

After registration there was nobody at the carpark to hand the keys and car, i spent about fifteen minutes looking for a Sicily By Car agent before one turned up. The car was not clean on the inside, and the baby seat was filthy. All baby seats were in a similar condition.
