Beautiful cenotes, lagoons and ruins. However, lots of pan handlers when you’re sitting down to eat, strays dogs will come and stare you down for scraps and flies at outdoor eating restaurants. Scammers everywhere. Beware when getting gas as they try to chat you up to distract you and swap out bills when you pay cash and tell you that you’ve under paid them.
